My Mercedes was due for service and contacted Brandon at Mercedes Benz of Reno to schedule an appointment. He said they were booked up but if I brought it in and left it they might squeeze it in.. Called and talked to a Service Writer about issues I was concerned about my Smart Car and made an appointment for the following week. After checking the car in, I was given a repair estimate, time to complete, and a courtesy shuttle ride home. The next afternoon,the service writer called informing me the car was serviced, being washed, and that the cost was about 2/3ds of the estimate. My car was thoroughly washed and I was asked if I wanted to take a picture with my car parked in their showroom, which I did of course. We waited two weeks for an appt for emission modification, then 1/2 hr after we left the Sprinter for what was to be a 2 hour job we got a call that someone forgot to order the parts. Our Sprinter was in shop for two weeks, during which time NONE of our phone calls to check status were returned. We drove an hour to check status and were told "parts just came in". Reno MB is the WORST.

Reno Mercedes was great. We live in small town 300 miles away. We got to Reno a half hour before our appointment Brandon the service guy set us up with a ride to a near by coffee shop and we waited and ate breakfast while our car got serviced. When the car was done being serviced Brandon called me and offered us a ride back to dealership. We preferred to walk. The car was serviced and cleaned . It was awesome friendly people that have not forgot about customer service!

I was unable to make an appointment for the recall work on the phone, I only got voicemail but never got a return call. Even from the manager. I finally went to the dealership to get the appointment. Once they had my car it went smoothly but difficult to get information on the status, We?d had snow so I appreciate them cleaning the outside of my car. For next question, it?s the only Mercedes in town. It is to soon to tell the quality of repairs

I had some vibrations on my front brakes after about 80 days of purchasing a certified owned used 2019 Mercedes. Service dept had my car for about 8 days and replaced my brake pads and rotors for free. I am grateful for that.

Wish I could give negative stars. Horrible customer service. Service department was so lame, every time they had a scheduled service they had to go to the Audi dealership to get the oil filter which took 2-3 hours even though it’s right across the street. Even when I asked them to pick one ip the day before they said “yeah ok , no problem…” then just stared at me like I was crazy when they said they had to go pick one up! Never take your vehicle here for service. In fact, never buy a vehicle from this dealership unless you like being frustrated and have all the time in the world to wait for bad service.

The staff was nice enough, but communication was not very good. I think they are either short handed or they overload their staff. I was expecting a call within the week , but after 20 days, and leaving 3 messages and 2 emails , I finally contacted the manager. Repairs seemed good once I finally got my car back. I just wasn't prepared for it to take so long and not to hear from anyone.

The WORST SERVICE EVER!!! It's been a WEEK of waiting to get my car back due to a FLAT TIRE!!!!! No cordial phone calls. You called, leave a message, and they do not return calls. So all the reviews that have one star, please read them they are all on point!! They should had call me and told me how long it will take so I can rent a car at least. Clarity and transparency in communication during service is lacking. I left a detailed survey, but the summary, a car broke down on the highway, and towed to MB of Reno, and the diagnosis was it was missing a fuse and out of gas? how is it possible to be missing a fuse while broken down on the highway on the return trip home? Service manager is phenomenal and I wish I could always deal with him. But the advisors are at times very vague. They informed me that the change of "Crankshaft" sensor, adding a fuse, adding fuel "DIDN'T FIX THE PROBLEM".. and Diagnostics are continuing. Then a week later, when I reached out, I was told car is done and the fixes above did the trick. It seems the fix was much easier but in order to get me to pay for the $625 Crankshaft sensor replacement they said it fixed the problem with the car. I received the car with moonroof inoperable (It needed to be reset after battery drained), Car has seriously foul small at startup, and the fuse cage simply thrown in the trunk (never bothered to put back in place) - Not something I'd expect from MB Dealership.

In August of 2020 we purchased a new MBZ GLE 350. As part of our transaction we purchased the First Class Wheel and Tire Protection Plus policy for $ 1,853. When I scheduled my "D service" at 10,000 miles for April 30, 2021, your records will show I requested cosmetic repairs on 2 of my wheels, and the use of a loan vehicle. When I arrived your service person seemed unaware of my request for the wheel repair ( even though it was on the service order). Your service dept had my car from 9:20 am until 2:30 pm, the "D service" was completed but zero was done on the wheels, not even contact with the insurer to set something up. I have since spoke with "Kwanny" (supposedly your service manager). He is supposed to contact me today, Monday May 3. I Hope he does. I'm very disappointed in your service dept. and I'm sure it is not up to MBZ standards. Sincerely, Mike Helm.

He always calmly handles all of my issues - I know that when I have any issue he handles professionally and with the utmost honesty and always over delivers. I once had to work with another consultant in Reno and ended up having to call Brandon to help me understand what was going on. I will only use Brandon from that day forward. I plan to buy another Mercedes in the next year and will want his expertise when doing so. I have the utmost respect for him and trust him. i live two hours from this service center so i booked service several weeks out when they confirmed a loaner vehicle would be available. i called a service advisor and asked for a price quote in the specific transmission flush service i needed. i was quoted $450, when i arrived the service advisor told me it would be $550 then told me they had no loaner cars available. i told them i wasn’t willing to uber home and back the next day and that i’d schedule the service for a future date. i was then told to wait for 20 minutes for a different service advisor... she proceeded with the paperwork, told me the service would be $850 and that she could get me a loaner vehicle. she made a big deal about the amount of fuel in the tank and to make sure that i brought it back with at least that much fuel in the tank. fine... the dirtiest car i’ve ever driven, actually went straight to the car wash (who washes a loaner car?!) the actual price of service, $900+ why is there a $53 miscellaneous charge above parts, labor, fluid and disposal. “oh, that’s for rags.” really? $53 for rags... fine i pay my bill and go to get my vehicle but need to wait another 20 minutes as they’re washing it. ok, nice. the valet that delivered the vehicle left the door open while starting it (something this dealer told me not to do because of an unfixable software flaw with this mercedes) so now i’ve got a loud chime (think seatbelt or door open sound) that won’t stop for the entirety of my two hour drive home. finally home, i climb under the vehicle to inspect the work i see transmission fluid dripping from the chassis cross members. i use a rag to wipe up the mess, it’s all over the place, incredibly sloppy work. it does not appear to be leaking but instead was just slopped all over the bottom of the vehicle and they made zero use of those $53 in rags. bottom line, ugh.. this dealership makes service painful (and don’t even get me started about the service advisor who pulled his mask down to tell the customer he was working with next to me that this covid thing is just a big hoax and we all need to get on with our lives) i also use lexus, bmw and tesla service centers for my other vehicles and this experience was leagues below standard.

Waited 3.5 weeks for an appointment. MB of Reno could not fix my car. They lacked the expertise I found at another shop that specializes in German autos. Also, the service writer was a poor communicator. Had to call for updates. Will never go back.

If I could have more ratings to put for specific experiences with Mercedes service that would be better. The reason I am giving a 3 star is although I have a non-Mercedes brand of car I had purchased the car at this dealership with a maintenance package. I had a scheduled appt at 10am and when I arrived my advisor said that it could be another two hours before the filter gets there to even begin the service. I was sort of floored at this wait for a service that shouldn't take more than an hour. William was my advisor and he was witty and allowed me to laugh about this with him but to be quite honest it did impede with my other daily tasks. I think there can be some better policies considered where looking at your schedule a day in advance and ordering parts a day in advance would be better so a customer doesn't have to wait as long as I did. In total I spent about 3 hours and 15 minutes waiting for a general inspection, oil and filter change. Again, the time spent there is the only reason for this review that I think is something that can be corrected. My advisor was excellent and overall just pleasant and it wasn't his fault so I wasn't going to give him a hard time about it. -Jamie Sawyer

I brought my car in for repairs suugest during the last yearly check. Crazy mix up, but the sevice report I received in June 2020 did not belong to my car, so there really wasn't a need for service. Service did check out my vehicle anyway and suggested a brake flush. Had that done at a fairly reasonable price.

I’ve had nothing but stellar service up until now. Needed my annual maintenance it took over a month to get an appointment. In addition to that when I did bring it in I gave him the timeframe to pick it up at my appointment was at 10 and I need to get back no later than four. Also my seat heating on the driver side was not functioning I even gave them a video of the problem. My car is not done even by the end of the day they can’t figure out that there’s anything wrong with the seating and I just don’t know how to use it which is in accurate and then my car was not finished even by the end of the day which is a huge hassle for me. also ask for the car to be washed and cleaned inside and out which I was told was done but the bird poop remained even on the window and nothing had been washed in fact it was dirty and then I brought it. I was told that someone called me about the issue with the seat heater. Tuesday I had to leave a message the following day explaining that it still is not functioning. As told by Monday morning at 9 AM would be getting a call it’s been a full week and nothing. To make matters even worse I was treated so rudely by the salesman. I was interested in turning in my car and getting a 2024 on the same day running service. I was told there would be no way I could afford the payments then I was told maybe I should look at getting a used car. This was in the first sentence of our conversation this man’s never met me he doesn’t know what I can and cannot afford which I made that conversation even more insane. He what is first you tell me possibly I shouldn’t get a Mercedes again I should get something cheaper really?? I’ve never had any of this experience prior. he then said he would call me with a quote for my vehicle trade-in. I had already looked up on Kelley blue book it was well aware for the trade and was however he proceeded to tell me it was approximately $11,000 less than what I had already seen in addition to the fact that he claimed I owed $6000 more than I actually do on the vehicle. I came in for a warranty issue about 6 times in total they figured it out and solved the issue, but the technician put big gouges in my center console and rear panel. They were quick to get parts and replace and we're nice about it so no complains there. my biggest problem is the communication is absolutely ridiculous. Had to call for any update constantly and I have one vehicle and could never get a hold of an advisor (unless it was my advisor which he did a great job), but if he wasn't in then getting any kind of information was like pulling teeth. I ended up just having to show up at the end of the day to even see what was going on. Got my car a final time and there's gum wrappers in my rear door panel and there pieces of my center console just sitting around. Sewhat careless technician. Overall just kind of a bad experience since my biggest issue is communication.

Went for a recall on backup camera but also got the batteries re- placed in a key fob and got my wife's phone paired to the car. The recall had to be complied with and the batteries had to be replaced but the phone was another issue. We tried and tried to pair it but failed. We're kind of idiots with these phones. The service advisor, Brandon Hanifen, took me to our car, had me sit in the seat and in, about 15 seconds, had the phone paired and me trained. To most people pairing is easy but, to us, it was a miracle.

The "closer" was a lousy representative for your Mercedes business. He was arrogant and his body language needs great improvement! Such as.... look at a customer when speaking to them, do not bury your head in a computer screen and read meaningless numbers at a pace they do not comprehend and then say, "well there...that is our deal/offer for your car!" This Service location is horribly understaffed. There are only two Sprinter techs to handle all service in Northern Nevada. The parent company, AutoNation, refuses to allow hiring more techs. My Sprinter sat on their lot for more than a month after my appointment when repair required a total of 9 hours! This situation is only about greed. Currently, they have 50 Sprinters waiting for service! Mercedes Benz asks me to contact their GM and let them give me another chance. What they can do is hire more Sprinter techs. They obviously can justify the expansion. But techs are paid well at MB with good benefits. And that would cut into the bottom line!

I dropped my R320 off on Aug 2nd for a small leak. It's October 4th and I still don't have my car back! Communication is abysmal. Promises of a price quote...one after another with no call back. Promises of the repairs finished with no calls or accountability. My husband finally got the service rep to text, if that was easier. Still no car! I had to buy a new car, since I missed 3 family vacations in the last part of summer and Labor Day weekend. I wasn't willing to give up taking my kids to the city last week after spending $1000 on concert tickets. Love my new Honda Pilot. I waited 3.5 weeks for a service appointment. When my car was inspected, I was told it couldn't be repaired because it needed a part that was no longer available from Mercedes. I called the Chicago based dealer who sold me the car and was told they have multiple sources for the part. I had one shipped to my home and installed it myself. Another problem I had with MB of Reno was communication. The service writer handling my car was cordial, but he didn’t keep me informed of what was happening with my car. I had to call and ask for updates. I don't plan to use MB of Reno's service department again. Also, I would not buy a car from this dealer. Like anyone else needing service, new car customers also must wait weeks to get a service appointment. This includes warranty service.

I have owned several BMWs, Audis, multiple Subarus, Lincolns, —more than 40 cars in all. But only one Mercedes. Actually two. First and last. This is the only “luxury’ vehicle I have owned whose service department didn’t offer a shuttle or loaner vehicle for extended service stays. Didn’t wash the vehicle. Didn’t put paper floor mats down or return the seat settings to the original position. The sales process was good, service not so much. Very disappointing for a Luxury brand. Lots of delays with getting the vehicle testing done. Dropped off all necessary paperwork for reimbursement of rental car on July 29, 2022 and was told it would be processed in two weeks. Stopped by the dealership after two weeks and advised that due to a backlog of these recall claims it would be ready in 4-6 weeks. Called after four weeks no progress. Called after 6 weeks informed by finance office that the claim had not yet been finalized by them, but they would expedite for the amount of $143.00. I informed them that the cost for the rental was a total of $744.00. They said they would make the correction and submit to corporate. I expressed my frustration with the delays and asked why it took the finance office to not review for 6 weeks and that I needed to have the check within two days or I would be calling the corporate office. Somehow the right people were involved and we finally received the full reimbursement $744.00 on September 8, 2020.

Recall of 2020 GLB250 brought in for service. Vehicle recall was estimated to take about five days which included waiting for parts. Three weeks later the repairs were finally finished. During this excessive delay MB of Reno never called to explain why the service would take weeks to complete. I never called to inquire about this delay. That?s the dealers responsibility to keep the customer informed which never happened. Disgusting, nonexistent customer service. Avoid this dealer if at all possible.

Since I purchased the car 8/20, I’ve had to replace the front upper and lower control arms, sway bar connecting rods, rear shocks and several light bulbs. The headlight mounting assembly is cracked. The oil level sending unit is malfunctioning. The parking distance monitoring system does not work. It was a 10 year old car, and I realize I should have had an independent shop verify the car’s condition prior to purchase, but I was lured into a false sense of security by the dealership’s claim these items had been checked and verified operational. The dealership offers a 5 day/250 return policy, but frankly I didn’t drive the car during the first five days.

I’ve had nothing but positive interactions with everyone at this dealership. Will took the time and made sure I was able to get a loaner for the day. I live so far away from this dealership and I had so much to do in town. Had 8 am ( first available) appt for sprinter service. Simple oil filler change. At about 830 they finally took the van. I thought they were taking it back for service. I decided to take a walk around the neighborhood. I saw my van parked about 1/ third of a mile away from the service center sitting in a lot with about 30 other vans. It took 8.5 hours to complete the service. Unacceptable . Update: the service manager lied to my face and said the work was slow because a garage door was broken. Then I hear from the mechanic ( who was nice ) that they took too long on the van because the service manager marked that it could be worked on the next day. Second update : the message below from the manager is more of the same. I called the number listed below, left a message for the GM to call me back, and still have not received a call- back. Wow . Very sad

I don’t believe that giving one star reviews benefit anyone. I do my best to look at what a company is going through and that employees make mistakes. When I initially dropped my vehicle off it was after the 6pm closing time, maybe ten minutes late. The front door was still open & a couple of members of the service staff were still there. I asked if I could drop my vehicle off. I was quickly ushered outside shown wear the after hours drop box was, the door was closed and immediately & locked, fair enough I was after the 6pm drop off time. The next day I was called and was asked what services were needed to be done on my vehicle, perfect. I was then told that they weren’t sure when the technician was going to show up & it may be an extra day to complete my service. Once again, fair, at least it was communicated to me. I was able to pick up my vehicle the next day after 4pm. Two days for a scheduled service, with no issues or extra parts, not necessarily excited, I did get my vehicle back for the weekend. Drove home. The next day I started my vehicle up and it notified me that it was low on oil. I called the dealership and they told me to bring it in. When I arrived I was greeted by the first person that saw me and I was told that the tech would look at it when he had time. Once again fair, it was Saturday & it wasn’t scheduled for me to return. The vehicle was taken to the tech, approximately twenty minutes later I was given my vehicle back So yes all the work was done and mistakes were corrected. Hopefully my next service goes smoothly

I had an appt on 7/27, due to the fact you don't have shuttle service I dropped my car off the day before. After waiting 30 minutes the tech finally talked to me getting information, after 10 minutes he asked me to go to the waiting area as someone came in before me. I was the only one in the service area. Waited for about 20 minutes went back to service area and everyone was at lunch. I left since my ride had arrived, plus I had been waiting over an hour. My appt with my car was at 7:20 on 7/27, I called to make sure it was taken back, they transferred me to a tech and I left a message, no one called me back, I called again at 8:30, this time left a message with the service manager, still no call back. Called again at 10:00 and they said they couldn't find my car. So I went there and was told they did not have a filter for the oil change at my appt time. So since they couldn't fit me in they told me I had to wait 5 hours for them to do the oil change. This is unacceptable to me, this is the second time at the service department that I got a round-around. If I could rate a zero I would have.

The service was OK. Wasn’t exactly the level of service I was expecting from MB. There service area is set up poorly. The staff doesn’t know who is waiting in line and for what. They take a long time to greet you. You’re not even sure which staff are service members. I finally talked to the one guy who was working in the service department and he was slammed. He up sold me on some service that I don’t think I needed. An alignment and tire rotation on tires with 4 miles on them and 13K on the vehicle. Didn't notice any difference in the alignment. They also said they would set my tire pressure to the perfect amount. After bringing the van home the TPMS went off and the front 2 were down by 20 psi. So I had to fill them up myself. Not exactly the service you expect when paying the price of MB service department. Made me question the rest of the work they did on the vehicle. Questioning whether to take the vehicle back there or try somewhere else.

The sales people are nice enough and I feel that I received a good deal without significant pressure. After being introduced to the sales person I worked with, I was left alone for about 15-20 minutes without an update, but I figured that was due to them being busy. The weekend following the purchase, I noticed that I was missing the wheel lock keys and contacted the dealer. For a certified pre-owned vehicle, I was surprised on this one. It has been almost a week now and I have yet to hear back.

Our sales person Marcos was the best we had ever worked with to buy a vehicle. He had us on a wait list for several months, kept us updated regularly, and was open and transparent in explaining when we might receive our vehicle. Once our van arrived well ahead of schedule he got us in and out quickly (much more quickly than any other car dealership experience ever) and pleasantly with no hassles. Also we paid MSRP, which was great compared to a lot of other dealerships these days jacking up prices 20-30%. Unfortunately, the finance guy was just about the worst you could imagine. He initially came on all charm and smarm, schmoozing and smiling and asking questions about our lives, but once he realized we weren't financing, and weren't going to buy the pre-paid service plan, he flipped a switch and turned sullen, saying things like, "Well, I hope that works out for you," and refusing to answer basic questions about the out-of-state registration process (vehicle purchased in NV but we live in CA). It was laughably unprofessional. If you're going to be that thin-skinned as a salesperson, maybe you'd be better off with a job where you're just asking "Would you like fries with that?" and you can smile or scowl commensurate with the outcome. So overall, a great experience, marred by one unprofessional employee whose sales schtick was at least memorable, but puzzlingly unpleasant in the moment.

I took my Mercedes SLK to the dealership because my new serpentine belt was chirping, and was extremely noisy. They had it for 14 days. During those 14 days I had to call repeatedly to get any information about the car, and it took them eight days to notify me that they had started working on it three days after my appointment date. Since this was a simple check that should’ve been done in no more than two days, I am very disappointed that they had it for 14 days. Everyone was extremely polite and apologetic, but the lack of contact was absolutely appalling. I will only use this dealership as a last resort, and only then, because many independent mechanics do not have the proper equipment to work on Mercedes-Benz.

I found through an online ad and purchased a certified used 2021 Mercedes with 1000 miles on it for a few thousand dollar below MSRP back in August 2021. At the time, I asked if there had been any damages to the car and the response I got from the sales representative was that only the sunroof had been damaged and replaced. I received the car out of state and everything looked fine at first glance and I never imagined I would need to look further since I had purchased a certified used and almost new Mercedes from the dealer. After a few months I decided to get the car detailed and install clear protection film on the entire car. What became evident during the process is that the car had had extensive body paint as well as some repairs on both the rear fenders and roof. I contacted the person who sold me the vehicle and sent all the pictures indicating this was the case and he responded by stating that he was not aware of any repairs or paint and that he would have to get back to the service manager. Having waited a couple of weeks for a clear answer, I was informed that in fact the car had been repaired and painted outside the dealer at a certified Mercedes facility. I was shocked at that point however, I needed to have the car repaired professionally and this point and asked for the repairs to be refunded by them. They then mentioned that they had to wait for the body shops insurance claim process in order to reimburse me for the repair costs since my car was no longer in Reno. Almost two months into this and after weeks of following up through multiple emails with no responses, I escalated the matter with the Manager of the dealership and I also spent a few weeks following up until I put a deadline in which I requested there would be an official response. Almost 3 months into this, they finally made a decision to refund the cost of repair, which I thought was below the absolute minimum they could do given the fact that they hadn’t disclosed the extent of the repair the vehicle had even though I clearly asked and it was information they had and failed to mention.

Everyone here was friendly and my appointment was easy to schedule. I took my car in because of a safety recall, and I expected to be pressured into fixing lots of other little things but I was pleasantly surprised! My appointment was with Will, and he explained any other issues I should keep an eye on, offered to look at them and gave me the price but didn't pressure me at all and gave me a list of everything so I could look through it at home. Shuttle service took me home to wait and picked me up when my car was ready (even with all my kids). Shuttle driver was friendly too-overall a great experience, highly recommend!

I recently purchased a 22 GLC. I drove it off the lot and everything was great. Then that same day, I was heading home from work and the vehicle started cutting out l, spitting and sputtering. I called my salesman and he told me to head back to the dealership- I barely made it. They had a loaner car ready for me. I didn?t end up with that vehicle has the motor was bad. The annual servicing on the car was due in 30 days & he had them do that while they had the car since I don't live in Reno. The service is always good do to Kwany (SM). My problem is with the cost of the labor rate. They are very very high. If you change a bolt it?s $500.00 you can not get a repair done for less then $500.00. I enjoy my MB 550 SL but I won?t buy another MB because the prices for repairs does not seem right. The MB repair prices make this car dealership not recommendable.

Went in for an oil change and a few other things. As with most dealership, they would like you to fix or replace many things which will add lots of $$ to your bill. Did appreciate their honesty regarding the glow plugs (I have a diesel engine). I have an OBD 2 tester so I knew one of the plugs was bad. They wanted to replace all 6 but said sometimes they break off in the head which would mean major extra expense ($5,000 plus) to have the head removed and the broken plug removed. Car starts fine on 5 plugs so I declined as the glow plugs are only for starting the car. Kept me informed about the progress and car ready when I needed it. Labor costs have gone up $225 p/hour and parts are too expensive but they warrantee the work which I have used in the past on other repairs so no cost to fix issues that came up.

We ordered a 2022 GLS 450 in January. It was built to our specifications, which was really nice. We were able to include the things we wanted, customized the way we wanted them, and didn't have to take (or pay for) things we didn't want. The car was delivered in late April and our salesman, Nick Khamis even took the car to another shop to have window tinting and Clear Bra done before we picked it up. That was a huge benefit to us, as we live in a small, remote town without these services. It was so nice to pick the car up with all of that completed. All the features were shown and explained to us (although we could use a 3-credit class to really learn everything the car will do and how to access/use it). We love the car and had a great experience with our purchase.

When we scheduled our service for two vehicles, the scheduler told us that no loaner vehicles were available so we had to schedule the services on separate days. We called our service advisor Brandon the day before our first service and he was able to arrange a loaner vehicle and service for both vehicles at the same time. Since the dealership is 30 miles away this worked to our best advantage. We have worked with Brandon for several years and he knows our vehicles well so we trust his judgement. Highly recommend the dealership and service department.

Required maintenance items and a tire rotation were completed. I had requested a NV Smog test, but when I arrived to pick up my car I was informed that the smog tester wasn't functioning. Also, my front passenger door auto unlock wasn't working and I was told that they didn't have time to investigate it... Note that my car was at the shop for 10 hours. Finally, I found an unexplained $58 charge that my rep couldn't explain. He checked with the Service Manager and let me know that it was a 'shop charge'.

I love cars and have bought zillions, but Mercedes Benz of Reno stands out like Fangio racing 10 year olds. Professional, courteous and unwavering fair, honest and upfront. I can be jerk, as I always do things at 100 miles an hour (like I drive) but Dave Rowe always kept me on track as I ordered an AMG E53 Coupe and the process can be daunting. Not at MB of Reno. The service department was amazing I had a check engine light on, they did the diagnostic .the original price for doing that was around 200.00. After spending their time and labor it turned out to be gas cap issue. They did not charge.me anything and they even washed my car. They refused to charge me anything. Thank You Mercedes.benz

The two stars are only for the actual mechanic. The service staff never returned calls, would never give us an update, then they said on their paperwork that "I declined 8-year service", which was never asked of me. If they would have told me, I would've had it done. We have a 2006 Sprinter van which is all Mercedes Benz, but the service guy acted as if it was a Dodge and that “He didn’t like them”. He does not know his own company. Our experience was terrible. I wish we had read yelp reviews before going. We will never return to Mercedes of Reno. They all need a crash course in customer service.

I’m giving one star because the service writer was very personable and sympathetic but seemed caught in the middle of a bad customer experience. Worst service experience at a dealership EVER. I won’t put names on blast. I recently had an electrical issue with my 2007 GL 450 and it was recommended I take it to the dealership. They were able to find and fix the main issue within a few weeks but when I came to pick up the car, suddenly my air ride suspension no longer worked (compressor was not kicking on). This was a 6 month old compressor. Since I couldn’t drive the car, I agreed to approve a maximum of 2 hours to troubleshoot. At that time I told the service writer to just let me know if the compressor was bad since it was under warranty. $400 later ($200/hr) I was told the mechanic cannot determine the issue and “thinks it’s probably the compressor”. They completely ignored what I told them and wasted time and money. When I stated this, it took 2 weeks for them to get back to me and confirm “yes the compressor is bad”. I had the vehicle towed home, and removed the compressor. I had it tested snd IT WAS NOT BAD. Which brings me back to square 1 with a car I cannot drive, an issue that wasn’t there when the vehicle was brought in, and an expensive repair bill that got me nowhere. I alerted Mercedes to the fact that the compressor was in fact NOT bad, but I never received any response. I will say that the service writer was polite and seemed he wanted to help, but really just wanted to not have to deal with my issue any longer. SERIOUSLY disappointed. I think next time I buy a $70,000 luxury vehicle I will go to BMW instead. UPDATE: 5-23-22 In the last month I have left about 4 voicemails for the general manager…..no one has returned any of my calls. I did have another mechanic look at the issue tho. And the wire to the air ride compressor had been cut. The dealership had the car last and it worked fine when I brought it in. Beyond disappointed with Mercedes of Reno.

About a week before I purchased my vehicle from Mercedes, I had gone in to look at a used Mustang they had on their lot. At the time, it was not ready for sale, so I left my number. I have to say I was really surprised that they actually followed up with me as I have had plenty of places ghost me. Steven was my salesman and I would highly recommend going to him! He kept in contact with me via email and as soon as the car was ready for a test drive he called me. This was my first time buying a car on my own, so I was pretty anxious about it but I never felt pressured or taken advantage of. Everyone was very patient and answered all my questions (and I had a ton). Their finance department got me an incredible interest rate, and that sealed the deal. I expressed that I had one concern about one of the plastic panels on the car, and their detailer took a shot at it and I will say it looks so much better. The car looked basically brand new when I picked it up. I am so pleased with my experience here and I'm sure that I will be going to them in the future. Thank you!

Total mess. I made appointment weeks in advance . Routine pre paid Maintaince was supposed to only take a few hours. No loaner cars available anymore, even though when I bought car they said they were available if service booked in advance. Shuttle was available. I requested a shuttle and was dropped off for an appointment. I was clear that appointment was 1 hour and requested driver return to get me In one hour 20 minutes. After my appointment, I started calling to be picked up, as dealership and shuttle driver. 2.5 hours later, I still was unable to reach any people at dealership. I left messages, entered my number to get a call back, called every department, service,sales, management…. No one answered. The driver said the latest they could get me as 4 pm. I called from 2-430 while I sat on the side of the road waiting to be picked up. Uber and Lyft were not available. Finally my son was able to get through to them and they told him they had no record of me, even though my car was in the service department, they previously gave me a ride and I called for 2.5 hours, including talking h to someone in Los Vegas, where all calls were routed. At this point I was panicking, wondering if the clinic was even going to close before I got there, and how I was going to get home, as I live several hours away from the dealership. Eventually the driver in the shuttle came to pick me up and took me back to the dealership, where they told me they could not find the problem with my car and that if I wanted they would give me a loaner. I left the dealership 8.5 hours after dropping my car off on a scheduled routine maintenance, for 40,000 mile service. Absolutely ridiculous. I like my car, but at this point I’ll probably buy a different vehicle and find a different Mercedes’ dealership to take care of my car. I understand that service requires time, however the experience was a disaster. I thought Mercedes would take better care of people who purchase cars

The Reno MB dealership was always a positive experience pre-Covid. Pre-Covid they were consistently responsive with fast and thorough service at a fair price, and even proactive offering suggestions and reminders to keep my Mercedes running at its best. It used to be easy to get an appointment and needed service quickly. Even during the height of Covid I was able to get a loaner vehicle from them (same day) when they needed to keep my vehicle longer (due to staffing shortages) than the less than 1 day usual maintenance service time. They seem to be coming back - I was able to get a service appointment within a couple weeks. The service was good, unlike last time (in 2021) when they failed to do a major component of service and I had to go back and insist they complete the service (a warning light was in my Dash and they blew it off) of my vehicle that was missed- that was when they gave me the loaner same day do they could take time to fully service my vehicle (which is my only car and I rely on it to work etc). This time they fully serviced my vehicle and checked on a different warning light and there is a major repair needed, forwhich they need to keep my car for over a week BUT no loaner available ??! So I’m waiting for a loaner bc I can’t be without a car and will have to keep checking w the dealership for a loaner and hope my car does not get more damaged while I wait for service and a loaner. It’s not possible to get a rental car - the dealership should really have loaners immediately available for these emergencies and extended service situations. This dealership does otherwise still strive to provide good service though.

I made an appointment specifically for ?recall work? and also the 6 year standard service, per dashboard warning light. Van was out of warranty, but I chose to go to dealership because of the customer service I?d received previously. I do not live near the dealership and at time of appointment scheduling, I was told service would take one day. On day of service (Thursday) was told ?recall part? had to be ordered and vehicle wouldn?t be ready till part arrived (Monday) and then a full day recall work performed. I was told I can?t take my vehicle once the recall part was ordered and recall part won?t be ordered, unless they have the vehicle... basically the vehicle needed to remain at the shop while waiting for the part. None of this explained when I made the appointment. Lucky for me, the service manager used the ?recall part? ordered from another client, who was able to be without their vehicle for several additional days. When I went to pay for service, the dealership would not honor expired service discount coupons? which wasn?t a problem in the past so I assumed it wouldn?t be a problem this time. Because the cashier closed 30 minutes earlier, I was also unable to pay by cash, without having exact change. I asked to pay over the amount, and return the following day for my change, but no one would take responsibility for the cash. When trying to reach my specific service manager, on several occasions, it was very frustrating that ?call center? operator was not at the actual dealership. I spent over $900 on just a standard service? which was only for some new wiper blades and various filters. For that amount of money, I?d hope high quality Mercedes would have washed my vehicle (other dealerships do that)? or at a minimum they could have used a paper floor protector and washed the windshield. And finally, when I left the dealership, I realized my Bluetooth phone was no longer connected. With still an hour before closing, I called the service manager to see if I could return or come back the next morning for assistance. I couldn't reach him, left a message and he never called back. I returned to the dealership the next morning and was told I?d need a product specialist, who was not going to be in for another hour.

Purchased a Mercedes GLA45 AMG from Mercedes Benz of Reno; which I towed back to LA on a trailer to keep the miles down. When driving it around in LA, I heard a noise in the rear. Took it to MBZ of Valencia and found out that the rear differential, rear shocks, and center speaker, all needed replacement . Luckily I had purchased a warranty (that only covers the differential). This all happened within only driving the car 250 miles and the car only having 61,000 miles overall. The issue for me is they tout about a 125 point inspection and let this happen. The Mercedes dealer in Reno has not been supportive in any way. This isn?t over with yet. Stay away from this dealer.

I brought my 2013 SLK350 in for an A3 service, since I was close to 60k miles we decided to go ahead and do the 60k service at the same time. I live about an hour and a half from Reno. This work was going to take the entire day so they had a courtesy car available for me and since it was a Friday they had no problem with me keeping the car over the weekend. Brandon was ready for me when I arrived, let me know when they were finished with my car and had it ready and waiting for me when I returned to pick it up. MB of Reno is one of the few businesses I actually look forward to dealing with. Sales was great when I bought the car and service has always been a pleasure.

I just took my Mercedes in for its annual service. As always, it was a quick and seamless experience. Branden was ready for me when I arrived and got me checked in right away. He explained everything that they would be doing to my car and gave me a quote. The car was ready when they said it would be and there weren’t any other things that they thought should be done, like with other places I’ve been. I am very pleased with the service I have received at this dealership and would highly recommend it to others.

This is the 2nd Mercedes I have bought from this dealership. Love their cars. Since someone else took over this company, there is no customer service. I won't buy a 3rd I am sorry to say. Also, they do not return calls and their prices have gone up. After every service I receive a coupon for a discount in the mail after the fact so they never get used.

What was supposed to be a three hour service ended up taking over seven hours with no update, no return calls and no indication of progress. The service manager did give me a 15% discount for my ?patience?, but the ultimate cost was the same as the original estimate. Plus it is the same thing that happened last time I took my car for service. Ultimately they did a fine job - and washed the car - but I hated the extra four hours of killing time while I waited.

I Contacted Marlin from the internet sales department to get information about this specific GLE. Being located in Sacramento CA, approximately 3hrs away I couldn’t just pop-in and inspect the vehicle. They have no problem selling you a car but when it comes to the service department they're far from helpful. Everytime I've dealt with them it was a hassle. Appointments were pushed out for a month. They offer no rentals. Purchased wheel/ tire warranty but have a gash in my tire I purchased 6 months ago. They expect me to be with out a vehicle for a month before they can fix it. Ridiculous service wouldn't recommend buying from them their service doesn't match the mercedes name.

I bought my car entirely online, 1st time doing that for me. overall a good experience until the end when they insisted I had to see finance guy before leaving. What for? I waited 45 minutes for the guy to finish strongarming customers ahead of me to buy a warranty. Since I had already stated I didn’t want warranty, paint sealant or upholstery protection this was a complete waste of my time… on a work day!! They finally sent in a salesman of the old school who proceeded to be quite rude (though he accused me of that!) who insisted I agree to come back later if needed. For what?? They already had my car, their check and the keys to my trade in. Too bad that end game really changed my perception of buying a car from MB of Reno! I will note, however, that the internet sales manager Marion was extremely helpful and knowledgeable! I wish I could have just dealt with him!

Scheduled a windshield replacement a month and a half in advance only to be called after the vehicle was dropped off that they don’t replace windshields. My car also needed the 40k service so I went ahead and continued with the service. The employees left the back windows open when it was raining. I called to try and get them to close the windows, even left a couple messages on the voicemails but to no avail. If it wasn’t for the Mercedes App I wouldn’t have known what they did. Thank God for technology. I live an hour and a half away and worked that night otherwise I would have driven to close them myself, water mark stains on the door sills and leather. The gentleman came with me to inspect the car when I got there he saw the damage and was kind enough to put it in writing that if I wind up with any mechanical errors (for the windows) they will replace them free of charge. I wasn’t notified when the car was finished so after four days I just showed up. Thanks for keeping your clients informed. I would NOT recommend this MB to anyone. Worst customer service. You can call and leave a voicemail all you want but don’t expect to get any sort of response nor update on anything.

This place is such a challenge. I made an appointment, had it confirmed by e-mail, and showed up with my RV only to find them closed because it was Labor Day! But they had made the appointment….!!! They weren’t even terribly apologetic or embarrassed by the whole mess. In fact, a few guys were in the Sales Department and one of them — who I later learned was the Manager! — was totally NOT helpful! They did quickly take care of my service issue the next day, and they reimbursed for the Ubers that all this mis-scheduling required. Not the first time that I’ve thought that if they weren’t the *only Mercedes dealer in town . . . 🤬

As previously stated by several others, my service was subpar as well. Scheduled a simple oil change and tire rotation. Just getting an appointment is a hassle since nobody will return phone calls. Customer service is pretty much non existent. The “service advisor” made me feel like I was an inconvenience since he was the only person in the place on a Saturday. After picking up the vehicle I noticed that even though they rotated my tires they failed to check pressures. And this wasn’t the first time. I am told that Mercedes of USA loves to hear about their dealers. Maybe that would motivate them to try a little harder.

Several weeks ago our Sprinter Van that we run our business out of broke down. I spent an hour on the phone calling all of the diesel places in town and no one could get us in for 2 weeks. I called Mercedes of Reno as a last resort, explained the predicament that we were in and not able to operate our business. I was given an 11:30 appointment and assured the van could most likely be fixed that day. No one called me throughout the day and I couldn’t get ahold of anyone when I called to see what was going on. I finally drove there at 5pm and was treated so incredibly rudely by Brandon in service, who basically said they hadn’t even looked an our van and wouldn’t be able to for another week or so. I really was made to feel like we were nothing because we didn’t have a brand new Mercedes that cost an arm an a leg, and have never dealt with such rude and arrogant service from a dealership or service department in my life. We also found out that they left the window rolled down overnight in the rain and didn’t notify us there was a problem with it. There was nothing wrong with the window prior to it getting towed there and we could have had tens of thousands of dollars of equipment stolen due to their negligence. My husband had to go to their back lot and fix it himself because clearly they weren’t going to bother getting around to it in a timely manner. It ended up taking them a week to fix it and upon getting home we realized they didn’t even fix the radio as we had requested. I will never do business with them again.

Dropped my car off this morning for a routine service and recall work. I verified both the appointment and need of a courtesy vehicle with the service department several days prior to my appointment. Our service advisor was not very informative at the time of drop off, I had to ask several times how much the service cost before he gave me an answer. And surprise, surprise…they had no courtesy vehicles available even though one was supposed to be reserved for me. He promised that my vehicle would be ready by 2:30. I got a call at 1:45 stating my car wouldn’t be ready now until about 4:30. I just got another call at 5:30 saying my car now won’t be ready until sometime TOMORROW! I am totally dissatisfied with the lack of customer service here. I won’t ever be taking my car back here for anything but recall work. I will be finding another service shop for the future.

I paid +$1100 for a routine maintenance service on my Sprinter - expensive, but I understand the costs associated with maintaining a MB. Where Mercedes-Benz of Reno fell short, was when I picked up the van, it had a brand new issue when accelerating that did not exist prior to the service. They got the van back in the shop the following week where I waited 6 hours to be told that it would cost an additional $7-10K to remedy the new issue. All in all, it would seem that Mercedes-Benz of Reno is not only painfully over-priced, but doesn't make right on their mistakes.

Not as good as it use to be. I was on time for my routine service appointment and an alignment. my service advisor was not on time. I was told car would be done by 3 or 3:30….at 5:00 I called for status. Was told someone should have called me because my car was ready. It wasn’t ready when I got there at 5:30 to pick it up. I’ve been going there for 20 years. This experience was very disappointing as they didn’t actually do one thing I took the car in for which was to clean the drivers side seat. I bought the interior protection package. They sent me an email to rate my experience. I hope someone at MB of Reno actually reads this. Disappointed customer for sure.

We have had our 2013 Sprinter service here for 7 years most of our experiences have been positive. Our last service visit was a total failure. We scheduled servicing in response to the emission system recall. We had the vehicle at the service center as scheduled and we would pick it up late the next day; this did not seem to be a problem. We live over 90 miles from the dealership so we went home and called several times the following day to determine when our vehicle would be ready. Every call was dropped before we spoke to the advisor. Because we had to leave on a scheduled trip that day we drove down to check on things and pick up our Sprinter. When we got to the dealership the service advisor wasn’t there, he had not come in for the day. Our unit was out in the lot and had not been looked at since we dropped it off. Nothing had been done. A new service advisor that was working his first day stepped up to help us and provided us with information. The vehicle had not been looked at at the recall service work had been rescheduled for November. This is the first we were notified of the change. It was frustrating and disappointing to have such poor communication which resulted in a wasted trip to the dealership.

We have three Mercedes Sprinters and have been using this dealership for servicing for 5 years. Not sure what happened in the past year, but their customer service has gone completely downhill. They do not answer the phones, and do not return any calls after you are forced to leave voicemails. After 6 unreturned voicemails, we finally just drove to the dealership to speak with someone. They kept our Sprinter for over one week before coming back with a diagnosis (after calling them several times to check in, of course). As to be expected being a dealership, their quote was exorbitant. And to add insult to injury, one of the issues is something they had repaired a few years ago. So we took our Sprinter to a local diesel mechanic who quoted and repaired the issue for 1/4 of Mercedes' rate! This dealership used to be so easy to work with. Really hope they get their act together as we still have warranties on two of our Sprinters.

Mercedes Benz sent me an email and said they'd love my input. So here I go... I booked an appointment weeks in advance to get my car serviced & verified it would take several hours. I explained I live over an hour out of town & I didn't have a ride. The service adviser said,, "Not a problem." When I got there, there wasn't a loaner car to use. The service adviser explained that he was new to the job & wasn't quite sure what to do. OK, no problem. I asked if there was a shuttle or if someone could give me a ride to my husband's place of employment. He said yes. After standing for over two hours & checking in every 15 minutes, another angry customer offered me a ride. Mercedes Benz is now resorting to lazy customer service in hopes that their customers will help each other out. It's as bad as self checkout at Walmart. Was I supposed to go in the service department and complete my car's service too? I won't be buying a car from them ever again & I'm looking for another shop to do the service.

My experience wasn't good at all. I bought a car that had issues and needed repair. The problem was the mechanics wouldn't even make time for me to explain my findings of the problem and didn't resolve the issue. The overall customer service was bad! I was left without a loaner vehicle after just trading my car in and purchasing their car. I was treated as if my used car wasn't a priority and neither was I. The staff have a inflated egotistical attitude as if all they care about is the money they can make. I ended up getting my car back that I traded in and washed my hands with them. A bad experience overall and I'm hoping my good credit doesn't suffer too much especially since I'll have to get another loan somewhere else. I wish I would've went somewhere else from the start.

MB was made aware of the vehicles issues within 3 days of purchase. MB neglected to address and resolve this issue for 5 months until I hired a lawyer. It was very exhausting to say the least in writing and advocating that they attend to and provide a fair resolution. My worst experience ever. This is unacceptable considering their commitment to quality of care. I?ll never EVER purchase a MB given their lack of attention and poor service in addressing and resolving the vehicles issue.

I challenge you to go to any other car dealership and be welcomed with open arms by everybody including the manager. In my experience all other dealerships you’re treated like a number. You are ignored for great lengths and even have to go find someone Who usually does not want to even talk to you. At Mercedes-Benz of Reno, that will never happen... my entire family only purchases cars from Mercedes-Benz no matter what brand of car we want this is where we go.

I took my car in for squeaky brakes when its cold. My car has 4500 miles on it. After the repair, the brakes were good for a few days but now still squeak. Also had them look at the gas door as it was sticking and after the repair, the door was worse than before. On way home from picking up the car, the engine light came. I emailed the service rep the day after to let him know and never got a response. I used to really love this service dept and it has clearly gone downhill. Very disappointed. This is my second Mercedes and I would not recommend getting one at the moment.

I bought my 2021 GLA 2 days ago at the Reno Mercedes Dealership. I had the most awesome experience in doing so. My sales rep was Jonathan Perez and I have never felt so comfortable when what can be such a scary experience. He filled me in on so many things I didn’t know existed with my choice of vehicle. She was also very accommodating from the start and very communicative. Process was lengthy (~3 weeks till I received my vehicle) and the finance advisor didn't take time to explain maintenance services offered in detail so it was very confusing knowing which services to purchase. My sunroof was broken when my car arrived so I had to take it in for service for an additional week before I could drive my car as expected.

I had my car in for scheduled 1000 miles service, which went well. 1 week later got a email to come in and get my tires rotated. When I called the service department they could not tell me why they had not done it during my last service. I arrived at scheduled time, dropped off my car. The employee did not say good morning, just to my fob. 4 hrs later I still had not heard anything ( simple tire rotation) , I called, service department told me it will be another 45 min to an hour. A hour and half later I got a call saying my car was done and in the process of getting washed. We I arrived 30 minutes after that phone call, the car still was not washed. Over all service was very poor, plus the employees were not helpful.

Had to replace the accessories battery that failed in less than one year. Found out that both batteries and the alternator needed to be replaced with 51,000 miles. Work was done . Only hold-up was finding and getting the parts to complete the job.

This car dealer is very fraudulent. They sell cars they do not own or have the title to. Dave Rowe is also dishonest. When I called with a customer complaint Jim Obrien refused to listen. He was very mean, nasty & rude. He cut me off and would not let me speak. He told me if I spoke again, he would not talk to me, help me and hang up on me. I do not recommend buying a car here. They are horrible.

Called and made a service appointment for 3 Nov for my 2008 Smart For Two. Asked the scheduler if they would actually do the service that day or just determine what parts would need to be ordered. She said that the car needed to be brought in and they would determine what parts would be needed. However upon arriving for my appointment, my service advisor told me that the only work they would perform would be an oil change, even though the Smart Car is made by Mercedes and uses parts made by Mercedes. The Service Advisor said I would have to take my Smart Car to Mercedes Benz of Sacramento for service. I made an appointment for this Friday at Mercedes Service Dept. in Sacramento. However, it is going to cost me $700 to transport my Smart Car from Reno to Sacramento and return, in addition to the cost of the required service. Several months earlier I had stopped there to inquire about replacing the rear hatch lifts. They said they would not do that. I asked about ordering the required parts. Again, no help! I took the car to my body shop. My advisor there found the required replacement parts for me to order online. He said to call him when they were delivered and he would install them with no charge. When they came in I called him, and he told me to bring them. He installed them in less than 10 minutes, for which I gave him a very good tip. This just goes to show the difference between a business that could care less about your business even though that business is under their purview, and another that just goes out of their way to help even though they have no obligation to do so! I called in April, mid-COVID and left a message for a call back , cuz I never reached a live operator. Nothing. Mad contact again, finally, in mid October. I got an appointment. I brought the car in late afternoon for 8:20 the following morning. Never got a call on appointment day, to pick up my car. Drove there at 4 that afternoon. They had determined the fuel filter part was the wrong part. They apologized and said they’d call when the part arrived. A week and a half later, I called again and left message about what was happening. That was a week ago. I’ve got nothing. No appointment, no contact, and no service completed. Took the vehicle in for the passenger airbag recall. Didn't like having to provide so much personal information and it taking so long to check-in and pick up the vehicle. You simply could have emailed a questionnaire in advance, then allow the customer to drop the vehicle in the service area with the keys, then call or text to indicate when it was ready for pick up as opposed to having to go inside and wait. When picking up the vehicle, we were told that we had to check in with Cameron who wasn't there at the time. We had to wait for him to return....why? Cameron was great, but the process needs improvement.

Normally, their service is very poor. Rarely has the car been ready when promised and often don't have a promised loaner. I have complained several times. maybe it helped, as this time the service advisor kept me informed and had a loaner ready. Unfortunately, something leaked when I got home and had to have the car towed for a fix. it was kind of a hassle. I asked to hav e the AC cleaned, as it has a smell and apparently they did not do that. It still smells.

I was recently at Mercedes in Reno for routine maintenance and a brake problem. I checked in with Jarett Burrows, my service representative at Mercedes. Jarett can always be counted on to make sure all the service needed is done and done well. He is very good about getting the service done quickly and ready when he said it would be ready. I was having a problem with the brakes and after describing the problem, he knew what needed to be done. The brakes are working great and smooth now. I am glad for the advice he can give me on my car so that I can make an informed decision on which service needs to be done now and which service that can be done at a later date. I enjoy talking with Jarett and look forward to seeing him even when I have to write him a check for all my car repairs!

Every time I visit this dealership I have the worst experiences. Their customer service is horrible. From the sales staff to the service department. Had my car serviced the other day which took about 6hrs and after I called to check the status because I had to be at work was told they couldn?t do anything about it that they had no shuttle either and didn?t know what else to tell me. Really? Maybe let customers know ahead of time so they can plan accordingly. I understand you?re short staffed had you told me that it would take 6 hrs I would have figured out another way of transportation. Extremely rude. Not sure if it?s just this dealership. When the car arrived at the Mercedes Dealership in Reno from Pheonix, AZ I was not disappointed. The car was in fantastic shape, just as the Autonation website showed. The majority of the communication was via email with Cameron Heppler at Mercedes and he was awesome to deal with. I would highly recommend him. When I signing the paperwork they of course are pushing the extended warranty in the amount of 2500.00. I had to tell them no numerous times, this is the worse part of the purchasing of the vehicle. I know it is their job, but no means no! After the final refusal they dropped the price to 1500.00. Again, did not take it. After that part was over it was smooth sailing. The day I picked up the car I was in and out in 10 minutes or less. I feel they gave me a very fair price for my trade in also.

Good service, the communication could have been better. When I dropped my car off at 9:30 AM, I was told that the shop was "a little backed up." At 6 PM, I called and was told that I would receive a call back "as soon as the service representative is free." No call until the next morning. I didn't need the car, but I would have liked an update. But everything was done properly and I have no complaints about the service itself.

I was three months out from returning my 2018 GLE as it neared the end of its lease. During the service visit I asked to look at options for my next lease. The group at Mercedes of Reno as always were very accommodating. Not only did they work with me through multiple test drives, but multiple pricing options. All the while keeping that 'Mercedes Personality' I have come to enjoy over the last 7 years. I ended up driving out with a new GLC300 with lots of goodies and leaving a 26K mile newly serviced GLE I loved, behind.

A lot has changed since January 2020 when I ordered a new car. We are now in a global pandemic, so didn?t know if I would even be able to get my new car. Auto nation offered me a quote to buy my vehicle in 5 min. while I was on a call with Carvana. Both Carvana and Vroom slashed their offers to buy my car, by $5000 within moments from their initial offers, due to the Corona bs. Vroom did come as a highest initial offer, $500 more than Auto nation, but I'm not sure if I was ready to trust their method of picking up my vehicle and sending me a check 2 days later. Carvana was the lowest offer, $300 less than AN, but I would have to drive 150 miles to their nearest location. Auto nation had their office inside the Mercedes-Benz dealership in Reno, therefore it was very pleasant to deal with them, staff was super friendly, and they payed extra attention on handling everything very fast and professional. My car and the title was under my business, and it took little bit longer to verify everything, but in less than 2 hours I had a check in my hands. Thanks AN , great job guys.

I got an offer to bring my vehicle down for a free Pit Stop check up, which included fluid checks, tire check, battery condition check and brake check, plus even a free car wash! It didn't matter I didn't have a Mercedes, they'll do any vehicle. My appointment was at 8am and they took me in right away. One thing I think could use improvement is the customer waiting area. There were just a few drinks and packaged energy bars and snacks. The BMW dealer across the street as a nice spread of bagels, spreads and pastries. BMW is out doing you Mercedes! The service was finished in the allowed time and I received a printout of my car's results.

I worked with Eric Hjertquist over the phone and through email to look at my options for getting out of my lease and into something more reasonable for my needs. I live in Fremont California and after many emails and texts with Eric. I decided to make the 4 hour drive to Reno to make it happen. I had tried working with multiple dealers in San Jose and found that they lacked the knowledge, integrity and personal service I received from Eric over the phone. When I arrived at the dealer I walked in and they had my car ready for me on the showroom floor. Everyone I encountered was friendly and extremely helpful.. Nick was great and very professional he walked me through how to use my car and all the cool Features. Tucker was also helpful and very patient with all my questions on the financing etc. I would make that drive again in a heartbeat to work with such a professional no pressure type buying experience. Was keep waiting around for shuttle driver for over 45 minutes. Driver did not know his way around town and got lost. Was given a ?complimentary car wash? but my car was still returned dirty. This appointment for my Sprinter motorhome airbag replacement was scheduled in advance. I called the day before the appointment to verify that the part was ready for installation because the appointment meant I had to travel to the RV storage lot, uncover my 24' motorhome, leave my personal vehicle at the storage lot, and drive the Sprinter motorhome to my home in advance of the 8:20am service appointment. When I arrived at Mercedes at 8am, I was told that there was not an airbag available for my vehicle because it had "just been used" on someone else's vehicle. How could this happen?! Why was the airbag that I had verified not been held for my vehicle? I had come to the service appointment with a book and been prepared to wait and take care of this all in the same day. I then had to take the shuttle to my home, be without my personal vehicle for the day, and get a ride back to Mercedes the next day to pick up my Sprinter motorhome. What a huge inconvenience! No apology for the delay when I returned to pick it up, just a 'here you go.' What lousy customer service, and from Mercedes! I would expect much better from the luxury brand.

On 12/23, I brought my 2013 Mercedes 350ML in for a recall on the bolts on the auto steering column. At the same time, they replaced the front brakes and rotors. The work was done on 12/24 and I picked up the car. When I got it home, I smelled a very strong burning smell until 12/29 when it finally was very faint. However, on 12/26, an engine warning light went on the dashboard stating the oil level was low. I took the car back to the dealer and they topped off the oil but, never looked under the car. When I returned home, I noticed a small pool of oil on the garage floor. I called the dealership and asked for an appointment to bring the car back in to find out why it suddenly was leaking oil after being serviced at the dealership. I asked to speak to the service manager Kwanny, who didn't call me back until the next day. Today, I will bring the car back in to find out why it is suddenly leaking oil after the recall work. Too much of a coincidence as the car has never ever had an oil leak and this same dealer changed the oil and did a full service just 5,000 miles ago.

I have been taking my 2008 ML 350 to the service dept in Reno for the past 11 years. I have always received great service. I recently bought a new GLC 300 and a major factor in my decision to buy another Mercedes was the great service I have come to count on. Unfortunately, I had a very unacceptable experience on Saturday, December 21st. I was in my ML 350 when all of a sudden, it kept attempting to make an SOS call. There was a loud alarm noise, and I was not able to disconnect the call. I called your service dept to ask how I could shut it off. A woman answered and told me that no service advisors were available at the moment and she would have someone call me back. I told her this was an urgent matter as I could not drive with the alarm going off and not sure if the car was safe to drive. It was obvious that I was in a panic. She assured me that someone would call me as soon as possible. I NEVER received a call back. Fortunately, I was able to figure out how to shut it off and the car seems fine. I find it unacceptable that your service staff did not respond to my call when I could have potentially been left stranded. This is not the kind of service I expect from Mercedes Benz and I hope I do not regret my decision to buy another one. I emailed the general manager with this information and never got a response. Disappointing.

My usual service advisor may not be working there any more and I can tell. I took my car in Monday morning and did not get a single update all day. I had to call them to see what the status was, and got voice mail. My message was returned the following morning where they informed me they had to order a part that would not be there until the next day. I was not offered a loaner car which I should have been. That would have been a big help.

The pressure in the tires of my Mercedes is supposed to be 38 front tires, 44 rear, a differential of 6 PSI. I had a 10,000 miles service yesterday for $330. When I picked up the vehicle, the pressure was 38/42 front, 40/40 in the rear. I returned after driving two blocks and asked the pressure be corrected. They brought the car back to me and the pressure was now 40/41 and 43/43 rear, a difference of only 3/2 PSI! I gave up and left. I no longer have any confidence that MB of Reno performed any of the service components they claim to perform.

The service is usually very good. Joe is on top of things, hunts down parts on short notice and delivers on time. Last time through, however, the car was delivered to me about half washed. Granted, it was covered with road grime but it made a bad advertisement for how an S450 should look. And when I got it home, I discovered gouges in the protective coating on the hood, as though someone had washed it with stones on the sponge. That was really not in keeping with MBZ.

I called to schedule an oil change. We bought our car with a different Auto Nation dealer, in Roseville. When I scheduled the oil change I told the lady to please make sure they have all my parts as my car is not a Mercedes. She checked and said you are all set up. Show up to my scheduled appointment, I was seen 15 minutes pass my scheduled time. No big deal, I understand things get in the way. After an hour and half of my car being in the bay the service tech comes and tells me that they are waiting for the filter to come in from the parts store. He mentioned that next time I should advice the scheduler of the different parts, I told him I did, he then says that they have a team in Vegas that schedules for them. My appointment was at 1:20pm. At 3:30 my part finally arrived. At 4:15 I was given my car. Really? 45 minutes to put in an oil filter?? Ridiculous. 3 hours for an oil change?? In the meantime my daughters school is calling because we need to pick her up. Luckily at 430 my aunt picked her up, an hour late and making the school officials wait! My son had an appointment at 4 that I had to reschedule due to this. Not happy about the situation especially when I gave the scheduler a heads up about the car. Very frustrating experience. Hopefully next time they are prepared!!!

I bought a Mini Cooper from these people got home late from there to discover I had no headlight trim then after a week or two of waiting for the clips my salesman broke them again and told me I could buy my own from Mini Cooper the car had check engine lights on that they refused to do anything about even though one was on the night I took it home. They told me the car was as is I should of bought a warranty however they had the car marked up so high I couldn’t purchase the 2500 dollar warranty. I’m unaware of how these people stay in business with how they treat their customers. Their salesman have little to no knowledge about the car he was selling and was not prepared when I got there knowing I was coming took him over an hour just to complete what little paperwork he had to do. They don’t care about your time or money that it takes to continue to run back and forth for what ever is needed over all very poor experience you would be better off going to a buy here pay here lot where they appreciate the business. Honestly this place truelly doesn’t care and lack the people to handle customers correctly. I would never buy another car from these people and auto nation needs to reevaluate who they have working for them and get some people in there that care about there customers.

I am an insurance agent and have a client who leased a car from these guys. She had a problem with her air-conditioner and took it into these guys to fix. They held onto her car for three weeks; the first week they told her one issue. By week two it had turned into a claim with her insurance company. They were very unfriendly and very difficult to deal with from the insurance company side as well as my client side of things. I would not recommend them to anyone!

worst car dealership ever! terrible experience. They Lied about everything before I purchased my vehicle. I even have service documents from them that they won't honor! save yourself and go to a mb dealership in nor Cal.

Everything was fine except that before the appointment I did not receive the promised phone call regarding the availability of the needed part. I had to call them 4 times. But once the vehicle was there, everything went very well.

I called to make an appointment re airbag replacements and also the regular servicing was due. Got an appointment the next day! Everything was completed in the timeframe stated. We are very pleased customers! Erin, our Service Writer, was GREAT!

I had a slow leaking tire and I took it in several times (without an appointment) for them to check it out. Finally we found out the leak was from the plug. They were gracious and looked at the tire each time and filled it up with air each time.

My MB had a dead battery, not all the time, but now and then. since it mad it unreliable, the service department squeezed me in and worked hard until they located the problem. Replacing the battery sounds easy, but finding that as the problem was not.

Top notch from the initial phone call to the returning of my vehicle. My service advisor Jarrett was pleasant as well as insightful...truly a wonderful experience. Being new to the Reno area I was a bit apprehensive about taking my Mercedes to a new dealership, but Jarrett gave me the assurance that they would do the job right and do it promptly. He did NOT disappoint. I definitely will be returning to Mercedes of Reno for my future service needs.

From the start to finish this was an easy transaction. No pressure, no back-and-forth. I'm a private BMW shop in Portland Oregon. I found a 2015 BMW X3 in their inventory that I was interested in. From my first call I felt comfortable when talking to Bruce Emens, sales manager. And, he told me, if I bought the car, he would pick me up at the airport, which he did in his beautiful new M4. A special thanks goes to Patti Gossin in finance. She went the extra mile to get the lowest interest rate on my loan and extended warranty. She's the best. For my 50th birthday my husband took me to Mercedes-Benz of Reno to get a new car. The whole experience was wonderful. Jason Smith and all the staff at the Reno location were exceptionally attentive and worked to get me what I wanted. I was looking for a crossover vehicle and had settled on the GLC 300. Before pulling the trigger I began to worry that I would be unhappy/bored with another sedan. Thats when Jason showed me the GLC 300 Coupe!!! BAM! The only down side... the only coupe in Reno was white, I didn't want a white, black or silver car OH NO :( Not to worry, Jason found me a Coupe in Arizona with all the bells and whistles aaaaaand in Dakota Brown Metalic YES YES YES! I have had my car for a week and I absolutely LOVE it. Thank you Jason and all the wonderful people (especially Patricia) at Mercedes-Benz Reno. Additionally! I just found out, I have my own personal Mercedes-Benz certified mechanic (Anthony) and Concierge (Javier) to call anytime I have a problem or question I need help with......AMAZING! Totally love Mercedes-Benz of Reno.

I moved to Northern NV with a Mercedes purchased in CA. So Mercedes-Benz of Reno now services my car. I have made two visits for service, and my advisor Joe Castleberry has handled everything in 5 star manner. He works to contain costs for parts and service not covered by warranty or my maintenance contract. So far, my experience with this MB dealership has been very favorable.
