About a week before I purchased my vehicle from Mercedes, I had gone in to look at a used Mustang they had on their lot. At the time, it was not ready for sale, so I left my number. I have to say I was really surprised that they actually followed up with me as I have had plenty of places ghost me. Steven was my salesman and I would highly recommend going to him! He kept in contact with me via email and as soon as the car was ready for a test drive he called me. This was my first time buying a car on my own, so I was pretty anxious about it but I never felt pressured or taken advantage of. Everyone was very patient and answered all my questions (and I had a ton). Their finance department got me an incredible interest rate, and that sealed the deal. I expressed that I had one concern about one of the plastic panels on the car, and their detailer took a shot at it and I will say it looks so much better. The car looked basically brand new when I picked it up. I am so pleased with my experience here and I'm sure that I will be going to them in the future. Thank you!

Total mess. I made appointment weeks in advance . Routine pre paid Maintaince was supposed to only take a few hours. No loaner cars available anymore, even though when I bought car they said they were available if service booked in advance. Shuttle was available. I requested a shuttle and was dropped off for an appointment. I was clear that appointment was 1 hour and requested driver return to get me In one hour 20 minutes. After my appointment, I started calling to be picked up, as dealership and shuttle driver. 2.5 hours later, I still was unable to reach any people at dealership. I left messages, entered my number to get a call back, called every department, service,sales, management…. No one answered. The driver said the latest they could get me as 4 pm. I called from 2-430 while I sat on the side of the road waiting to be picked up. Uber and Lyft were not available. Finally my son was able to get through to them and they told him they had no record of me, even though my car was in the service department, they previously gave me a ride and I called for 2.5 hours, including talking h to someone in Los Vegas, where all calls were routed. At this point I was panicking, wondering if the clinic was even going to close before I got there, and how I was going to get home, as I live several hours away from the dealership. Eventually the driver in the shuttle came to pick me up and took me back to the dealership, where they told me they could not find the problem with my car and that if I wanted they would give me a loaner. I left the dealership 8.5 hours after dropping my car off on a scheduled routine maintenance, for 40,000 mile service. Absolutely ridiculous. I like my car, but at this point I’ll probably buy a different vehicle and find a different Mercedes’ dealership to take care of my car. I understand that service requires time, however the experience was a disaster. I thought Mercedes would take better care of people who purchase cars

We had visited another car dealership before going to Mercedes Benz of Reno. The other dealership acted like we did not even exist. No one came out to see if they could assist us. We decided to stop at MB of Reno. Chance came out and offered his assistance. He was very professional and not pushy at all. The entire experience was a no pressure experience. The Reno MB dealership was always a positive experience pre-Covid. Pre-Covid they were consistently responsive with fast and thorough service at a fair price, and even proactive offering suggestions and reminders to keep my Mercedes running at its best. It used to be easy to get an appointment and needed service quickly. Even during the height of Covid I was able to get a loaner vehicle from them (same day) when they needed to keep my vehicle longer (due to staffing shortages) than the less than 1 day usual maintenance service time. They seem to be coming back - I was able to get a service appointment within a couple weeks. The service was good, unlike last time (in 2021) when they failed to do a major component of service and I had to go back and insist they complete the service (a warning light was in my Dash and they blew it off) of my vehicle that was missed- that was when they gave me the loaner same day do they could take time to fully service my vehicle (which is my only car and I rely on it to work etc). This time they fully serviced my vehicle and checked on a different warning light and there is a major repair needed, forwhich they need to keep my car for over a week BUT no loaner available ??! So I’m waiting for a loaner bc I can’t be without a car and will have to keep checking w the dealership for a loaner and hope my car does not get more damaged while I wait for service and a loaner. It’s not possible to get a rental car - the dealership should really have loaners immediately available for these emergencies and extended service situations. This dealership does otherwise still strive to provide good service though.

I made an appointment specifically for ?recall work? and also the 6 year standard service, per dashboard warning light. Van was out of warranty, but I chose to go to dealership because of the customer service I?d received previously. I do not live near the dealership and at time of appointment scheduling, I was told service would take one day. On day of service (Thursday) was told ?recall part? had to be ordered and vehicle wouldn?t be ready till part arrived (Monday) and then a full day recall work performed. I was told I can?t take my vehicle once the recall part was ordered and recall part won?t be ordered, unless they have the vehicle... basically the vehicle needed to remain at the shop while waiting for the part. None of this explained when I made the appointment. Lucky for me, the service manager used the ?recall part? ordered from another client, who was able to be without their vehicle for several additional days. When I went to pay for service, the dealership would not honor expired service discount coupons? which wasn?t a problem in the past so I assumed it wouldn?t be a problem this time. Because the cashier closed 30 minutes earlier, I was also unable to pay by cash, without having exact change. I asked to pay over the amount, and return the following day for my change, but no one would take responsibility for the cash. When trying to reach my specific service manager, on several occasions, it was very frustrating that ?call center? operator was not at the actual dealership. I spent over $900 on just a standard service? which was only for some new wiper blades and various filters. For that amount of money, I?d hope high quality Mercedes would have washed my vehicle (other dealerships do that)? or at a minimum they could have used a paper floor protector and washed the windshield. And finally, when I left the dealership, I realized my Bluetooth phone was no longer connected. With still an hour before closing, I called the service manager to see if I could return or come back the next morning for assistance. I couldn't reach him, left a message and he never called back. I returned to the dealership the next morning and was told I?d need a product specialist, who was not going to be in for another hour.

Actually talking to someone from the Reno store is next to impossible. No body ever returned my call and it took 2 weeks to get an answer if my parts had arrived. The first time I dropped off my car and I'm from out of town to get it fixed they had the car all day and the part wasn't there it had been returned.

Purchased a Mercedes GLA45 AMG from Mercedes Benz of Reno; which I towed back to LA on a trailer to keep the miles down. When driving it around in LA, I heard a noise in the rear. Took it to MBZ of Valencia and found out that the rear differential, rear shocks, and center speaker, all needed replacement . Luckily I had purchased a warranty (that only covers the differential). This all happened within only driving the car 250 miles and the car only having 61,000 miles overall. The issue for me is they tout about a 125 point inspection and let this happen. The Mercedes dealer in Reno has not been supportive in any way. This isn?t over with yet. Stay away from this dealer.

My experience with MB of Reno was very favorable, they made me feel comfortable and they were upfront and honest. I was given the carfax on the vehicle that I originally went in to test drive for purchase, without having to ask for it. I didn't feel rushed nor did they make me feel as if I was bothering them. After making the purchase I realized that I had left something behind and when I returned to pick it up the salesman and sales manager remembered my name upon walking in the door. When it's time for my next purchase I'll make them my first stop.

I’m giving one star because the service writer was very personable and sympathetic but seemed caught in the middle of a bad customer experience. Worst service experience at a dealership EVER. I won’t put names on blast. I recently had an electrical issue with my 2007 GL 450 and it was recommended I take it to the dealership. They were able to find and fix the main issue within a few weeks but when I came to pick up the car, suddenly my air ride suspension no longer worked (compressor was not kicking on). This was a 6 month old compressor. Since I couldn’t drive the car, I agreed to approve a maximum of 2 hours to troubleshoot. At that time I told the service writer to just let me know if the compressor was bad since it was under warranty. $400 later ($200/hr) I was told the mechanic cannot determine the issue and “thinks it’s probably the compressor”. They completely ignored what I told them and wasted time and money. When I stated this, it took 2 weeks for them to get back to me and confirm “yes the compressor is bad”. I had the vehicle towed home, and removed the compressor. I had it tested snd IT WAS NOT BAD. Which brings me back to square 1 with a car I cannot drive, an issue that wasn’t there when the vehicle was brought in, and an expensive repair bill that got me nowhere. I alerted Mercedes to the fact that the compressor was in fact NOT bad, but I never received any response. I will say that the service writer was polite and seemed he wanted to help, but really just wanted to not have to deal with my issue any longer. SERIOUSLY disappointed. I think next time I buy a $70,000 luxury vehicle I will go to BMW instead.

I brought my 2013 SLK350 in for an A3 service, since I was close to 60k miles we decided to go ahead and do the 60k service at the same time. I live about an hour and a half from Reno. This work was going to take the entire day so they had a courtesy car available for me and since it was a Friday they had no problem with me keeping the car over the weekend. Brandon was ready for me when I arrived, let me know when they were finished with my car and had it ready and waiting for me when I returned to pick it up. MB of Reno is one of the few businesses I actually look forward to dealing with. Sales was great when I bought the car and service has always been a pleasure.

This is the 2nd Mercedes I have bought from this dealership. Love their cars. Since someone else took over this company, there is no customer service. I won't buy a 3rd I am sorry to say. I'm having mixed feelings about Mercedes-Benz of Reno. Their sales staff was great when we purchased our vehicle but I don't feel the same about their service department. The service department has not been the same since Covid19 hit. My recent experiences haven't been good and if there was another Mercedes-Benz dealer within 50 miles, I would rather go there.

This is about the service department communications. TERRIBLE. My vehicle was supposed to be fixed yesterday but no call from them. Since I had to catch a ride to Reno to pick it up, I called them in advance to be sure it was done. I have been trying to reach somebody for almost 2 hours. I even called the parts department and had one of them walk over to grab another service rep for me. But that person was unable to help me because only my "personal service representative" can determine whether my vehicle is done. If my vehicle is not ready, I'm stuck in Reno all day for no reason. Completely unacceptable. 1 star UPDATE: Once I was able to reach the manager, he stepped in and was more helpful. And so far the actual service work seems to have been done well. But with the communication issues I have to stick with 2 stars.

What was supposed to be a three hour service ended up taking over seven hours with no update, no return calls and no indication of progress. The service manager did give me a 15% discount for my ?patience?, but the ultimate cost was the same as the original estimate. Plus it is the same thing that happened last time I took my car for service. Ultimately they did a fine job - and washed the car - but I hated the extra four hours of killing time while I waited.

Have had my 2017 Sprinter van serviced and repaired their multiple times. Appointments have been easy to make, costomer service has been excellent, waiting area is real nice, have given me a loaner car when they could. All the people there I have dealt with over the years have been professional, honest, friendly.

My wife had to wait three hours for an oil change and on top of that they recommended a tire rotation for an additional $975.96, tires that we installed with them no too long ago, any tire shop in town rotate and balance your tires free of charge after a purchase. No going back, their service is being going down the hill in the last few years.

Their service has sure gone to pot since the company was bought. It took over a month to get an appointment. They are short handed and no loaner cars. However, my service man was very understanding as my husband was in the hospital and later died that night. He did the best he could and that was very much appreciated.

I recently purchased a certified pre-owned GLE AMG 63s from this dealership and have absolutely no regrets. I Contacted Marlin from the internet sales department to get information about this specific GLE. Being located in Sacramento CA, approximately 3hrs away I couldn’t just pop-in and inspect the vehicle. The car met all my expectations and Ken the ( manager) was able to configure all the number and have all the paperwork ready when I arrived to purchase the car. Seamless. Oh forgot to mention I drove past 3 local Mercedes dealerships to purchase this vehicle.

Sales experience was actually good. Finance failed to disclose certain terms of the prepaid maintenance, like that it can't be canceled or refunded. Just a material error of $2150... which is a total rip off. Now, a week and a half later, the car sounds like it's shaking apart on cold mornings and squeaks, rattle and clunks. ECO mode shutters when it shuts off the engine and when it restarts... now I know why the salesman put it in Sport+ mode for the test drive... ECO doesn't work in S+. Of course, you have to manually select everything every time you start the car as the technology thinks it's smarter than you are. Mercedes just isn't what it used to be. Won't be keeping the car long, thankfully it's CPO and was relatively cheap.. the financial hit won't be that big. Never again M-B ... overpriced, and not over engineered anymore. Sad learning experience. Updated 1/14/2020 - took car for service appointment scheduled 10 days in advance. Service advisor Omar seemed unsure what if anything could be done or how long it might take.... Sales and "Concierge" had informed me that an update to COMAND/Infotainment system required to make certain features advertised (mbrace) actually work and navigation maps seriously out of date... didn't even know there were updated maps. Left without service, ZERO confidence in the ability of this dealership to get it right.... This place just goes from bad to worse. Made a second appt for service after being assured they could/would get the work done.... stupid me. Had the car for half a day... no idea what to update for COMAND... updated navigation map (advertised as free for 3 years) for $200 in labor... Liars, scoundrels and I've truly learned my lesson. My experience isn't an isolated event... it's a pattern of bad business.DONE. Really wish there were negative stars. I'd rate as -10. To be fair... service writer and cashier were very friendly and apologetic... but the company is horrible. I will never visit another AutoNation dealership and will now drive 150 miles to the next nearest dealership for service until I can unload this car. Updated 2/2022 Still nothing but issues with this purchase. Prepaid service purchased with car. Nope, gotta go thru hoops each time scheduled service is req'd. Never buy from MB of Reno.

They have no problem selling you a car but when it comes to the service department they're far from helpful. Everytime I've dealt with them it was a hassle. Appointments were pushed out for a month. They offer no rentals. Purchased wheel/ tire warranty but have a gash in my tire I purchased 6 months ago. They expect me to be with out a vehicle for a month before they can fix it. Ridiculous service wouldn't recommend buying from them their service doesn't match the mercedes name.

My vehicle has a very loud screeching noise when I step on the brakes, took it to the dealership I bought it from and the technicians checked it out and said that it is normal (after 2 - 3 visits). I do not hear any other Mercedes vehicles screaming. This is a vehicle that was bought new from the show room with less than 0 -125 miles only. I had a recurring problem with the radar ("distronic") on my 2020 Sprinter Van and MB of Reno had tried to fix it with no success. They did some digging and found a solution which is great that they did that. Best of all, they got me in very quickly once they found the solution and it worked! I really appreciate their efforts to both find the solution and quickly get me in.

It turned out to be a complicated problem that took them a while to sort out but they kept working on the issue and some how resolved it without having to replace a bunch of parts. I had my Mercedes (which I had purchased at this dealer) serviced recently and when because of other circumstances I wasn't able to get back to the service department prior to their closing to retrieve my car. Of course this meant that my car's paperwork, keys, were all in the closed service department. This was of course problematic as I live an hour from the dealership . One salesman, the sales department was still open, Marcos Salazar, went to extraordinary effort to make sure that I was able to retrieve my car on a Saturday night. So, with that in mind, if buying a car in the future, I'd make sure that Marcos Salazar was the salesman, knowing that he'd go to great lengths to make sure that you were a happy customer.

If you are simply selling your car to Mercedes the process is quite time intensive. It took nearly 2 hours and 45 minutes to complete the sale for a vehicle with no liens and all paperwork provided ready to go.

The absolute worst experience I have ever had. Brought my car in for a gear shift repair in early November. They fixed the shifting issue promptly then told me I had a brake switch issue. Charged more for that and I agreed to pay. But then they told me a module was out and now we are approx $2000. All the while blaming this on us changing the battery... I have no choice but to repair the vehicle so I left the car on Nov. 18th -no one ever calls to update you and they NEVER pick up their phone so I left voicemails trying to check in - the service advisor and manager leave voicemails back that it is going in...I finally call the GM - same thing - he leaves a voicemail assuring me he is on this....Dec. 13th I receive a voicemail from the service manager advising they never got the part - they cannot find the part and perhaps I should start calling around for the part! WTH!???!! I have a full time job and cannot to theirs as well! Nonetheless I call the GM, the service manager, the service advisor and of course no call back! I cannot even try to find the part if I don't know what it is!!! Let alone why should I -- the part went bad while in their care and now I not only have to pay for the repair but I have to find the parts! During this 6 week ordeal I have also had to rent a vehicle as they are not offering loaners! This is unbelievable!

Very frustrating experience! Appointment made more than 4 weeks in advance and I was told it was a three hour job. When I showed up I was told the part was not there and I needed to leave my car overnight. I went back and forth with Craig until another service rep intervened. My car was repaired but the total cost was $175 more than I was quoted when I made the appointment with Craig! Craig then went on about the cost of bolts and how he gave me a discount. I felt very bullied and taken advantage of both in service and price. We’ve bought two cars from Mercedes of Reno but I cannot say we will get our third there because of this experience.

5 Star rating for the service manager (Mr. Qwani?). Due to a scheduling snafu with their system, I was confirmed an apt on a holiday, as well as sent reminders. Needless to say, the service dept wasn't open when I arrived. The manager went out of his way in the following weeks and made things right. He made sure they ordered the part(s) to be on hand before I showed up to make the repair while I waited. Thank you for the great service on my Sprinter van.

I bought my car entirely online, 1st time doing that for me. overall a good experience until the end when they insisted I had to see finance guy before leaving. What for? I waited 45 minutes for the guy to finish strongarming customers ahead of me to buy a warranty. Since I had already stated I didn’t want warranty, paint sealant or upholstery protection this was a complete waste of my time… on a work day!! They finally sent in a salesman of the old school who proceeded to be quite rude (though he accused me of that!) who insisted I agree to come back later if needed. For what?? They already had my car, their check and the keys to my trade in. Too bad that end game really changed my perception of buying a car from MB of Reno! I will note, however, that the internet sales manager Marion was extremely helpful and knowledgeable! I wish I could have just dealt with him!

I called to try and get them to close the windows, even left a couple messages on the voicemails but to no avail. If it wasn’t for the Mercedes App I wouldn’t have known what they did. Thank God for technology. I live an hour and a half away and worked that night otherwise I would have driven to close them myself, water mark stains on the door sills and leather. The gentleman came with me to inspect the car when I got there he saw the damage and was kind enough to put it in writing that if I wind up with any mechanical errors (for the windows) they will replace them free of charge. I wasn’t notified when the car was finished so after four days I just showed up. Thanks for keeping your clients informed. I would NOT recommend this MB to anyone. Worst customer service. You can call and leave a voicemail all you want but don’t expect to get any sort of response nor update on anything.

Craig in the service department must've been having a bad day because it was an inconvenience to leave my car in the front while my ride picked me up due to my car being in the shop for "a month". I went in for a recall on my sunroof and he explained only "a couple technicians could handle such a complicated task". Thats scary if only 2 of your technicians could handle a sunroof recall, I wouldn't trust them past an oil change if that's the case. He wanted me to wait in the lobby with a car seat, some things I bought from the store, a gym bag, work boots and other miscellaneous items I'd need if my car was there "a month". I decided to leave, definitely not how I expected to be treated at my local Mercedes-Benz shop. I called the next closest Mercedes-Benz shop which was in California and they said they'd order the parts and call me when they had them and it would be 2 days top. Maybe Craig wasn't happy I was only there for a recall. Regardless I'd say take your car out of town or try a smaller local shop that specializes in Mercedes-Benz

Marcos, Jim and Tucker are Pros! We needed a car quick, we found the GLS we were looking for at Mercedes Benz of Reno. Price was good and the no haggle thing took the pressure off. Marcos organized the whole thing remotely and I flew in from CO to pickup the car. Marcos picked me up in our new car! A couple hours in the dealership and I was outta there driving 1400 miles back home. Times are tough for everyone, lot’s of personal and professional stress on all employees and businesses. I am currently looking to buy a replacement for my 3 year old Porsche SUV. I called their sales department today and spoke with a Marilyn (or something like that) about availability of a few of their AMG models. He was incredibly rude telling me that all of their advertised vehicles on the MBUSA site were accounted for and I should know that as there is a shortage for V8 engines and then he proceeded to hang up on me. If that tone and approach is a refection of this dealers attitude to customers looking to spend $100k+, then I'm afraid they are not going to be winning any business from me or anyone of my colleagues looking to to buy a MB.

No response to voice mail messages left to service and parts departments, no response to email, several calls over several days with no return call and no live person to deal with in parts to find out if they had parts in stock. Impossible to get a 40k standard service in a reasonable time frame (the quoted over 2 months) I had to go out of state for service. Failure to deliver the promise of the brand,,,,, I get it’s COVID time but I was able to book service appointments in CA OR WA all within a few days and they had people answering the phone in parts, there is something seriously wrong at this dealership

I purchased my vehicle from Autonation and they promised that they would be changing the windshield as per our agreement when we bought the car. It's been a month and the windshield is still not changed. They asked to hold on to the car for the duration of the time it would take to fix the windshield. If I had not asked to keep the car then I would be out of a car for a month. The dealership is consistently deflecting and delaying the service to fix the vehicle that I purchased from Autonation.

Took over a month to get scheduled for oil change and tire rotation. As part of my warranty, I get 6 free services. Drop off was easy enough as I did it the night before. They had my car all day (Friday) and never received a call that it was ready. Called Saturday AM and yes it was ready. Went to pick up car, waited in service area for 15 minutes before I went to the sales floor to ask if anyone was available to help me. Sales man was abrupt in saying "Yes, they will be with you when they get there." 15 more minutes the service guy shows up to help me. Service receipt showed they didn't get to the car until Saturday morning. Service was top notch when I bought the car, and this needs to be carried forward beyond the initial sale. I was highly disappointed with this interaction.

This place is such a challenge. I made an appointment, had it confirmed by e-mail, and showed up with my RV only to find them closed because it was Labor Day! But they had made the appointment….!!! They weren’t even terribly apologetic or embarrassed by the whole mess. In fact, a few guys were in the Sales Department and one of them — who I later learned was the Manager! — was totally NOT helpful! They did quickly take care of my service issue the next day, and they reimbursed for the Ubers that all this mis-scheduling required. Not the first time that I’ve thought that if they weren’t the *only Mercedes dealer in town . . . 🤬

Went in for some recall work on a Sprinter 4x4 RV. Craig in the service center was friendly, transparent, and got our van taken care of. I know that they are incredibly busy, yet I still received an excellent quality of service and my van was ready in a couple hours. Very happy with my experience.

I got an appointment at 10:30 and was told it would take about two hours for the car maintenance to be completed. I waited in the lounge area and ended up waiting four hours before the job was done. However they did offer a loaner car to use for a few hours.They have overbooked appointments knowing they do not have enough workers for timely job completions. NOT HAPPY!

Worst follow up service I have experienced in a long time. The reps seem to be happy to help, but good luck getting a hold of one who can help you. They said they would call back 3 times. After 48 hours never got a call. Then they gave me someone’s personal line to call and the number had been disconnected. Either they are understaffed or their call centers CRM is on the fritz. Because getting a single question answered has taken me more than 3 days and 10 phone calls. Ultimately I scheduled a service appointment and hoping to get my question answered then. Edit: Once my appointment was made the service work was fine, recall on airbag, and new break pads. If not for the difficulty of scheduling and call back issues. I would give four stars

Team here is great and they do a wonderful job of being proactive vs reactive to the needs of you car . Would normally give 5 stars if it wasn’t for a Miscellaneous charge that shows up at the end . Most recently it was about 80 dollars . When I asked they told me is was to make up for costs like rags and supplies . You would think that would be included in the cost of the repair .

I flew in from Los Angeles to purchase a used 2017 BMW 740i, on a Sunday. I was told the car had no issues, cosmetically, or otherwise. They neglected to tell me that the car had a substantial ding on the rear bumper and the front passenger door, which weren't visible in the images posted online. This made me very unhappy. Someone could've said something, especially knowing that I was flying there. On top of that, it was 96 degrees, and the AC didn't fully work. I would've left without buying the car, if I was local, so I accepted a $500 discount for the issues with the AC, but the 8+ hour drive home was very uncomfortable. I feel there was false advertisement in regards to the cosmetic issues, and the flaws bother me more than I thought they would. Now, I have to wait two weeks before Autonation can look at my AC issue. Overall, they were nice, but I feel like there was some deception. Ultimately, I have buyer's remorse, and no one wants to feel that about such a big purchase, which should bring you happiness and joy. This is the 3rd luxury vehicle I've obtained from an Autonation dealer (QX56 in 2013 and Full Size Range Rover in 2019). After this experience, I will avoid Autonation for future vehicles, and I would especially not recommend this particular dealership.

I have gone to them for service on my E53 AMG 3x. Each time I asked “when do you think it will be done?” Each time they have seriously underestimated the time — not 30 minutes to 60 minutes - but by a time factor of 2 or more. In fact, when I went to have the microphone fixed in the headliner, they kept my car for over 1 week (and didn’t successfully repair the issue). I approached MB USA after the last encounter. MB USA said that “we will have the dealership’s GM call you.” That, unfortunately, never occurred and only confirms what I suspected: senior leadership doesn’t. care about customer service. Maybe they think that they have a monopoly in the area and don’t have to care? In summary.although I think the front line techs try to be responsive and responsible, it’s impossible for them to deliver even average results without the resources and support from higher-ups. My suggestion is to try to find a different dealer for service.

The part was not ordered for my car until I showed up at the service managers desk after they had my car for 6 days and wouldn't return one phone call. The service manager had to take my paper work from the rep not doing his job and order the part. I will never go to them again. I have a few cosmetic things I want to fix on the car. It won't be with them. Even if it's free. I am never using them again. I also drove out of there without the hood being closed on my car or the computer being reset. Every time I get in my car now it says that my car is due for A check up. I went back. The manager says I should push a button every time to wipe the message off the screen. Now I have to go back again to get the service light off. It continually comes back on every time I drive my car.

If you buy a Mercedes and expect to get it serviced from this place then please do not hold your breath, because you will not survive. Zero communication skills and they will outright ignore you especially if you did not buy the car from them (I tried but they had no inventory). Also, don't expect any support at all from Mercedes corporate office or the roadside assistance. We purchased an AMG and you would have thought we bought a 74' Ford Pinto. I cannot recommend Mercedes or this service department in any way shape or form. This is a big corporation that could careless about customer service. Best of luck if you choose otherwise.

It was difficult to set an appointment when we experieced issues with our fairly new rv. After setting up appmt for 30 days later, we drove 5 hours to reno to get rv inspected/repaired. We thank the manager for intervening. We were told to arrive at 8am and they would put in bay to check the sensors. Instead they parked it in a lot, so we had to find hotel accommodations. We were concerned with all food in refrigerator so again manager helped expedite the job. Sensor fixed and we are back on the road 2 days later. The agency is small but staff was very nice.

Please take it down in writing about the offers and features the Sale Advisor pitch you specially for Used Car. I was told that the Mercedes Benz ML 350 car comes with 2 Keys even when I specifically asked the Sales Advisor about it , but later while taking delivery it was discovered that it has only 1 key and I need to shell out extra 500$ to buy it.. Disgusting..!!! More so currently they are short of Service Advisor, which might results in delay in Servicing of your Car. New Mercedes Benz owners please be aware of this, while dealing with them..!!Best in Class set up but poor Service. !!! I had an appt for service 4 months ago but when I arrived at the dealership the service rep stated there was no appt for me on the computer. Yesterday I had an appt for a manufacturer’s recall, I received a reminder the day before by e-mail. But when I arrived at the dealer the same service rep stated I had no appt. Fortunately I still had the e-mail to show the appt so he worked me in. When the car was ready I was told to sign papers and the service rep then turned away toward the computer, never explaining what the techs had done to the car. My 2-month-old leased GLE 450 suffered a major electrical malfunction that rendered the horn, steering wheel controls and center controls inoperative as well as the front touchscreens unresponsive. I went directly to Mercedes service to see if it was a quick fix (computer reboot, etc). It wasn’t. It took three days just to diagnose the issue, and another 2 full weeks to effect the repair. This is unacceptable for a brand new vehicle. While I understand that mechanics and employees are in short supply, I had to call the dealership multiple times to ask for an update on my GLE. Please note that I called when I was told the vehicle would be ready, yet no notification from the dealership service department. On almost every call I made, I would be told that my service coordinator was busy and would return my call in 10-15 mins. I would wait an hour or two and then have to call back, again. This is strange behavior from a supposed luxury brand service department. While I don’t fault the service department for the vehicle malfunction itself, the 2.5 week delay (during which time my lease payment had to be paid, of course), is a ridiculously long time to wait for a repair on a brand-new vehicle. I ended up having to call the GM, who jumped into action, had a reply for me and I got my GLE back when he said it would be back. For this, I give 3 stars. The 2-star deduction is for the situation within the service department itself.

I returned my Lease earlier today. I was having electrical issues with my car/battery and told them this over the phone prior to arriving. On arriving, I went in and was helped by a gentleman who made it clear he didn’t want to help me. Complained the car wasn’t turning on, that he had to boost it, he had to check the odometer, and obviously did not want to do his job. Several weeks ago our Sprinter Van that we run our business out of broke down. I spent an hour on the phone calling all of the diesel places in town and no one could get us in for 2 weeks. I called Mercedes of Reno as a last resort, explained the predicament that we were in and not able to operate our business. I was given an 11:30 appointment and assured the van could most likely be fixed that day. No one called me throughout the day and I couldn’t get ahold of anyone when I called to see what was going on. I finally drove there at 5pm and was treated so incredibly rudely by Brandon in service, who basically said they hadn’t even looked an our van and wouldn’t be able to for another week or so. I really was made to feel like we were nothing because we didn’t have a brand new Mercedes that cost an arm an a leg, and have never dealt with such rude and arrogant service from a dealership or service department in my life. We also found out that they left the window rolled down overnight in the rain and didn’t notify us there was a problem with it. There was nothing wrong with the window prior to it getting towed there and we could have had tens of thousands of dollars of equipment stolen due to their negligence. My husband had to go to their back lot and fix it himself because clearly they weren’t going to bother getting around to it in a timely manner. It ended up taking them a week to fix it and upon getting home we realized they didn’t even fix the radio as we had requested. I will never do business with them again.

Terrible service! They don’t answer the phones. Long hold times. Multiple disconnections after 15-20 minute holds. They never call back if you use the option to keep your place in line and leave a call back number. It takes numerous calls just to book an appointment. Then they routinely underestimate the repair times to avoid giving you a loaner car. And if you are lucky enough to get a loaner car they try to charge you for fuel (and a fuel surcharge fee) even if you’ve replaced the fuel used. This dealership is pretty much a nightmare to deal with. Avoid if at all possible!

Dropped my car off this morning for a routine service and recall work. I verified both the appointment and need of a courtesy vehicle with the service department several days prior to my appointment. Our service advisor was not very informative at the time of drop off, I had to ask several times how much the service cost before he gave me an answer. And surprise, surprise…they had no courtesy vehicles available even though one was supposed to be reserved for me. He promised that my vehicle would be ready by 2:30. I got a call at 1:45 stating my car wouldn’t be ready now until about 4:30. I just got another call at 5:30 saying my car now won’t be ready until sometime TOMORROW! I am totally dissatisfied with the lack of customer service here. I won’t ever be taking my car back here for anything but recall work. I will be finding another service shop for the future.

I made a reservation for the service and a week early I received an email saying the date has been changed to tomorrow. I live 40 miles away and couldn't keep the new date that was assigned to me out of nowhere! I called and talked to the manager who said no problem come when you scheduled it. I asked I need a car to use that I reserved, do I still have it and he said yes. I drop my car off and there's no car available for me to use. I was expected to sit in the dealership all day! They finally found one for me after an hour. It took 1 1/2 days for the service to be completed. One of the letters on the back of the car fell off and they were going to glue it back on. I got the car home and the next day the letter was on the floor of my garage and I get a call from the dealer saying I have to bring my car back in because they forgot to drain the brake lines. Really? For a standard "B" service you forgot? Horrible service. I guess I have to drive another 80 miles so they can complete the work I already paid for! I am shocked, this isn't the kind of service I expect at Mercedes.

I am very disappointed in the Mercedes Benz of Reno sales department management customer service, which included being told that I received an automated response mimicking what appeared to be an authentic email from the GM. Unfortunately I then received condescending emails when I was following up on the sales inquiry. My prior experiences have been with Mercedes Benz of Oakland dealership, which were very different in terms of truly positive and great customer service. Perhaps being the only Mercedes Benz dealership in Northern NV has something to do with this vast disparity of customer service and really taking care of loyal Mercedes Benz customers.

About 100 miles out, I received several alarm lights on the dash and lost all power, I rolled to the side of the road and called the closest MB distributor which was MB of Reno. They quickly put me in contact with Michael S. He explained what the alarms were and after shutting off the engine for a few minutes and restarting, the only alarm was check engine. He said it would be ok to drive in the next morning and have them look at it. He also said that they were fully booked but would try and get me in as quickly as possible. He said that he would be there at 7:00 am and to meet him there. I drove in about 6:45 and he was already busy opening up and by 7:10, my car was already in the repair bay. Michael and his team are wonderful. Once I finally get moved to Dayton, Michael is my guy. I know it takes more than one person to make a great team so, thank you all, Mercedes-Benz of Reno team!!

Easy and effortless experience. Very difficult to find a well spec'd car right now. I dealt with five MB dealers from three different states and Chance at MB Reno was the only one who could deliver. I was supposed to get my car back in a few hours after some minor service items were performed, however it took them the entire day to complete the work. I understand delays, but what was so frustrating was the fact that they never called to update me. I had to call twice to find out the reason for the delay. Then when I asked for a shuttle ride first thing the next morning (since I was at work and couldn’t leave), I was initially told they couldn’t accommodate me since it was so early. They finally agreed and sent someone to get me. The only reason they get a star at all is because of the friendly shuttle driver, Steve. This experience was not my only negative one. On a separate occasion, I had a question regarding my new vehicle and went to another person in the service department for help. When explaining the information to me, he grew impatient because I was having difficulty understanding the complicated procedure and seemed to think I should have known it already. This department doesn’t seem to value its customers, so I think I’ll be inconveniencing myself by having service performed at another location in California in the future.

Technician was not clear on the service being performed. I had incurred a charges that I was not aware of and it came as a surprise when picking the vehicle up. What made matters worse I was charged initially of a service and product that was not even performed. Not as good as it use to be. I was on time for my routine service appointment and an alignment. my service advisor was not on time. I was told car would be done by 3 or 3:30….at 5:00 I called for status. Was told someone should have called me because my car was ready. It wasn’t ready when I got there at 5:30 to pick it up. I’ve been going there for 20 years. This experience was very disappointing as they didn’t actually do one thing I took the car in for which was to clean the drivers side seat. I bought the interior protection package. They sent me an email to rate my experience. I hope someone at MB of Reno actually reads this. Disappointed customer for sure.

We have had our 2013 Sprinter service here for 7 years most of our experiences have been positive. Our last service visit was a total failure. We scheduled servicing in response to the emission system recall. We had the vehicle at the service center as scheduled and we would pick it up late the next day; this did not seem to be a problem. We live over 90 miles from the dealership so we went home and called several times the following day to determine when our vehicle would be ready. Every call was dropped before we spoke to the advisor. Because we had to leave on a scheduled trip that day we drove down to check on things and pick up our Sprinter. When we got to the dealership the service advisor wasn’t there, he had not come in for the day. Our unit was out in the lot and had not been looked at since we dropped it off. Nothing had been done. A new service advisor that was working his first day stepped up to help us and provided us with information. The vehicle had not been looked at at the recall service work had been rescheduled for November. This is the first we were notified of the change. It was frustrating and disappointing to have such poor communication which resulted in a wasted trip to the dealership.

We have three Mercedes Sprinters and have been using this dealership for servicing for 5 years. Not sure what happened in the past year, but their customer service has gone completely downhill. They do not answer the phones, and do not return any calls after you are forced to leave voicemails. After 6 unreturned voicemails, we finally just drove to the dealership to speak with someone. They kept our Sprinter for over one week before coming back with a diagnosis (after calling them several times to check in, of course). As to be expected being a dealership, their quote was exorbitant. And to add insult to injury, one of the issues is something they had repaired a few years ago. So we took our Sprinter to a local diesel mechanic who quoted and repaired the issue for 1/4 of Mercedes' rate! This dealership used to be so easy to work with. Really hope they get their act together as we still have warranties on two of our Sprinters.

This is the first time I have encountered a bad experience at this dealership. Very unsatisfied with their customer service. I dropped my car off for an appointment on a Friday and heard nothing until the following Tuesday. When I called late Monday I was told that I was "given a loaner car" so I should not be calling to inquire. I gave instruction not to fix the vehicle so that I could potentially look at new inventory and they fixed it anyway. When I looked at my bank statement they overcharged what my invoice said as well, I am still waiting for a call back regarding the overcharges. I expect better service when purchasing and servicing a luxury vehicle.

Long waiting times on phone to reach service consultant. After leaving voice and text messages, no response back . Courtesy driver was professional. Dealership service quality declined noticeably, with high staff turnover, since takeover by Autonation, a corporate entity known to focus strictly on volume profit, not costumer service. We long for the days of ownership by independent businesses rather than nationwide corporate giants where personalized service takes a backseat to corporate profit margins to enrich senior management.

After owning BMWs for the past 4 years, I decided to go with a Mercedes as an upgrade. Super nice vehicle, amazing interior, compared to my 5 series. I had an engine light come on last month. Called to make an appointment on 4/22 and was able to get to scheduled on Wednesday, 5/12. The car seemed to be driving fine, so it wasn’t a big deal waiting 3 weeks. I dropped it off and didn’t hear anything, so called and left a voicemail end of day on 5/13. I didn’t hear back. On 5/14, I called the main number and was able to get on the phone with an advisor. They didn’t have any information from the technician on what was going on with the vehicle or when it might be ready to pick up. I was told that parts were coming from various parts of the country. On 5/19, I called and left a message for an update with the service representative, but was never called back. On 5/20, I was able to get a hold of an advisor. He was able to briefly explain what was going on and that the vehicle should be ready soon. On 5/21, I received a voicemail midday and the advisor was able to tell me the car would be ready towards the end of the day. I didn’t receive a follow up call confirming the vehicle was ready. On 5/22, I called and after 10 minutes on the phone, I was told by the service representative that one of the advisors working that day would call me in 25-30 minutes with an update. No one called with follow-up. On 5/24, I received a voicemail that the vehicle was ready. My wife had to pick it up for me because I was at work. She reported that the advisor I had been working with wasn’t available. One of the newer staff collected the vehicle and signatures. My wife asked what the issues with the vehicle were and was told to check out the paper report she was given. My wife received the vehicle, without a courtesy wash, and drove home. I had assumed that with the fallout from the pandemic (being understaffed and issues with supply chains) that this is why communication and throughput was lacking. My wife did ask the advisor today if they were understaffed and he said “not really.” This is my first experience with the Mercedes of Reno service department. The car seems to be running OK. I have read the paper work/labor report and things were done to the vehicle presumably. Overall, my experience over the preceding 2 weeks stands in stark contrast to my experiences with the service department across the street at BMW. I was just another person with another Mercedes that would be ready when it was ready. My vehicle seemed to be inconvenient.

I went into Mercedes-Benz of Reno today to purchase a chassis battery for my sprinter built out into a Winnebago era. The showroom parts and service departments and the bathroom I will say where the cleanest I'd seen in any establishment. The parts man was helpful brought my battery out to the car and I drove off $200 exchanged for the chassis battery. It was an impressive auto dealership. I'm sure you'll have a good experience.

I am sorry to say that your service department is woeful at best. Phone calls to service department were never answered or responded to. This happened two times. The first was to find out about when the car would be done. This was after they had the car for two days. No call to tell us when the car would be completed. This is our only car. This was very unprofessional. We called our contact in the sales department to go over to the service department but he told us they had left for the day (around 5 pm). We asked him to leave a note for the service department. The next day we anticipated a call in the morning from service agent. No call. We finally connected later on that day and were able to pick up the car. The second incident happened when our car had trouble with the battery. This is a week after we had the car serviced. I called the service department and got no one. Left my phone number. No response. I drove to the dealership and talked to the service guy, same one who handled the earlier service appointment, and explained the problem. He wasnt sure how to handle it and said he would check with the service mechanics to see if they could explain the problem. This is four days later and still no call. This MB is our fourth and this is the 5th dealership we have dealt with. This is by far the worst.

When I got there, there wasn't a loaner car to use. The service adviser explained that he was new to the job & wasn't quite sure what to do. No problem. After standing for over two hours & checking in every 15 minutes, another angry customer offered me a ride. Mercedes Benz is now resorting to lazy customer service in hopes that their customers will help each other out. It's as bad as self checkout at Walmart. Was I supposed to go in the service department and complete my car's service too? I won't be buying a car from them ever again & I'm looking for another shop to do the service.

The first available appointment was weeks away. I brought it in on Wed eve and was told it would be ready by Friday. Friday eve they said they hadn’t even looked at it and it would be next week. I have never been so dissatisfied and disappointed with a sevice department at a car dealership. My 2020 vehicle started to get a small tear in the driver seat. Mark said he would order a replacement (under warranty). When it came in we would then do the 10k milage sevice at the same time. 1 month later I finally called because I had not heard from them. I called 4 times Mark never returned my call. When I did get ahold of him he told me he had no paperwork and didn't know what I was talking about. He said he would look into it and call me back. Never did. 5 days later I called his manager. The seat (to replace the ripped seat had magically appeared) we made and appointment to fix seat, do 10k service, and update software in the car. We brought it in yesterday morning 5/11/2021 at 9am (our appt time). We were told it is going to take at least 2 days maybe 3.....WHAT? I have not heard from them it is now 3:30 on 5/12/3021. I called an hour ago to get some kind of update and was told someone would call me right back....of course no call. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

We drive from Bishop, 3 hours, our service person was pleasant and helpful. He told us things were busy and running behind. We told him if they needed to keep the van overnight, we would drive home and pick it up for n a day or two. He said no it would be ready between 3-4, we again offered to come back another time rather than rush them and wait the 6-7 hours. We called at three and we're told he was busy and would call back, we never heard back. We went to the location at 4:00. The other service advisor said they had not touched the vehicle. Our advisor came out and initially said he called at 1:30, he then recanted his statement. He told us the van would not be ready until the following day. We waited 7 hours to find out what we had offered early that morning. Then they charged us for small things that should have been part of warranty. We love our van, bummer about the service experiance.

My experience wasn't good at all. I bought a car that had issues and needed repair. The problem was the mechanics wouldn't even make time for me to explain my findings of the problem and didn't resolve the issue. The overall customer service was bad! I was left without a loaner vehicle after just trading my car in and purchasing their car. I was treated as if my used car wasn't a priority and neither was I. The staff have a inflated egotistical attitude as if all they care about is the money they can make. I ended up getting my car back that I traded in and washed my hands with them. A bad experience overall and I'm hoping my good credit doesn't suffer too much especially since I'll have to get another loan somewhere else. I wish I would've went somewhere else from the start.

MB was made aware of the vehicles issues within 3 days of purchase. MB neglected to address and resolve this issue for 5 months until I hired a lawyer. It was very exhausting to say the least in writing and advocating that they attend to and provide a fair resolution. My worst experience ever. This is unacceptable considering their commitment to quality of care. I?ll never EVER purchase a MB given their lack of attention and poor service in addressing and resolving the vehicles issue.

The appointment was difficult to get on time. I canceled my appointment twice because they were going to be 2-3 1/2 hours late with no call. There were two different ‘departments’ making the appointments, one with a valet and one without (the appointment was to be valet) .

I challenge you to go to any other car dealership and be welcomed with open arms by everybody including the manager. In my experience all other dealerships you’re treated like a number. You are ignored for great lengths and even have to go find someone Who usually does not want to even talk to you. At Mercedes-Benz of Reno, that will never happen... my entire family only purchases cars from Mercedes-Benz no matter what brand of car we want this is where we go.

I took my car in for squeaky brakes when its cold. My car has 4500 miles on it. After the repair, the brakes were good for a few days but now still squeak. Also had them look at the gas door as it was sticking and after the repair, the door was worse than before. On way home from picking up the car, the engine light came. I emailed the service rep the day after to let him know and never got a response. I used to really love this service dept and it has clearly gone downhill. Very disappointed. This is my second Mercedes and I would not recommend getting one at the moment.

She was also very accommodating from the start and very communicative. I had my car in for scheduled 1000 miles service, which went well. 1 week later got a email to come in and get my tires rotated. When I called the service department they could not tell me why they had not done it during my last service. I arrived at scheduled time, dropped off my car. The employee did not say good morning, just to my fob. 4 hrs later I still had not heard anything ( simple tire rotation) , I called, service department told me it will be another 45 min to an hour. A hour and half later I got a call saying my car was done and in the process of getting washed. We I arrived 30 minutes after that phone call, the car still was not washed. Over all service was very poor, plus the employees were not helpful.

This car dealer is very fraudulent. They sell cars they do not own or have the title to. Dave Rowe is also dishonest. When I called with a customer complaint Jim Obrien refused to listen. He was very mean, nasty & rude. He cut me off and would not let me speak. He told me if I spoke again, he would not talk to me, help me and hang up on me. I do not recommend buying a car here. They are horrible.

Called and made a service appointment for 3 Nov for my 2008 Smart For Two. Asked the scheduler if they would actually do the service that day or just determine what parts would need to be ordered. She said that the car needed to be brought in and they would determine what parts would be needed. However upon arriving for my appointment, my service advisor told me that the only work they would perform would be an oil change, even though the Smart Car is made by Mercedes and uses parts made by Mercedes. The Service Advisor said I would have to take my Smart Car to Mercedes Benz of Sacramento for service. I made an appointment for this Friday at Mercedes Service Dept. in Sacramento. However, it is going to cost me $700 to transport my Smart Car from Reno to Sacramento and return, in addition to the cost of the required service. Several months earlier I had stopped there to inquire about replacing the rear hatch lifts. They said they would not do that. I asked about ordering the required parts. Again, no help! I took the car to my body shop. My advisor there found the required replacement parts for me to order online. He said to call him when they were delivered and he would install them with no charge. When they came in I called him, and he told me to bring them. He installed them in less than 10 minutes, for which I gave him a very good tip. This just goes to show the difference between a business that could care less about your business even though that business is under their purview, and another that just goes out of their way to help even though they have no obligation to do so! Took the vehicle in for the passenger airbag recall. Didn't like having to provide so much personal information and it taking so long to check-in and pick up the vehicle. You simply could have emailed a questionnaire in advance, then allow the customer to drop the vehicle in the service area with the keys, then call or text to indicate when it was ready for pick up as opposed to having to go inside and wait. When picking up the vehicle, we were told that we had to check in with Cameron who wasn't there at the time. We had to wait for him to return....why? Normally, their service is very poor. Rarely has the car been ready when promised and often don't have a promised loaner. I have complained several times. maybe it helped, as this time the service advisor kept me informed and had a loaner ready. Unfortunately, something leaked when I got home and had to have the car towed for a fix. it was kind of a hassle. I asked to hav e the AC cleaned, as it has a smell and apparently they did not do that. It still smells.

I was recently at Mercedes in Reno for routine maintenance and a brake problem. I checked in with Jarett Burrows, my service representative at Mercedes. Jarett can always be counted on to make sure all the service needed is done and done well. He is very good about getting the service done quickly and ready when he said it would be ready. I was having a problem with the brakes and after describing the problem, he knew what needed to be done. The brakes are working great and smooth now. I am glad for the advice he can give me on my car so that I can make an informed decision on which service needs to be done now and which service that can be done at a later date. Every time I visit this dealership I have the worst experiences. Their customer service is horrible. From the sales staff to the service department. Had my car serviced the other day which took about 6hrs and after I called to check the status because I had to be at work was told they couldn?t do anything about it that they had no shuttle either and didn?t know what else to tell me. Really? Maybe let customers know ahead of time so they can plan accordingly. I understand you?re short staffed had you told me that it would take 6 hrs I would have figured out another way of transportation. Extremely rude. Not sure if it?s just this dealership. When the car arrived at the Mercedes Dealership in Reno from Pheonix, AZ I was not disappointed. The car was in fantastic shape, just as the Autonation website showed. The majority of the communication was via email with Cameron Heppler at Mercedes and he was awesome to deal with. I would highly recommend him. When I signing the paperwork they of course are pushing the extended warranty in the amount of 2500.00. I had to tell them no numerous times, this is the worse part of the purchasing of the vehicle. I know it is their job, but no means no! After the final refusal they dropped the price to 1500.00. Again, did not take it. After that part was over it was smooth sailing. The day I picked up the car I was in and out in 10 minutes or less. I feel they gave me a very fair price for my trade in also.

Good service, the communication could have been better. When I dropped my car off at 9:30 AM, I was told that the shop was "a little backed up." At 6 PM, I called and was told that I would receive a call back "as soon as the service representative is free." No call until the next morning. I didn't need the car, but I would have liked an update. But everything was done properly and I have no complaints about the service itself.

I was three months out from returning my 2018 GLE as it neared the end of its lease. During the service visit I asked to look at options for my next lease. The group at Mercedes of Reno as always were very accommodating. Not only did they work with me through multiple test drives, but multiple pricing options. All the while keeping that 'Mercedes Personality' I have come to enjoy over the last 7 years. I ended up driving out with a new GLC300 with lots of goodies and leaving a 26K mile newly serviced GLE I loved, behind.

Replaced run flat tires on Mercedes that were failing with regular tires. No hassles. Four stars since no one called me from the dealership the morning after I left my car in overnight drop. When I initiated a call to them, service advisor gave excuse that he didn't want to call me too early. It was 9:30 a.m. :).

A lot has changed since January 2020 when I ordered a new car. We are now in a global pandemic, so didn?t know if I would even be able to get my new car. M-B Reno and I made all arrangements to pick up via phone and email. When I arrived to pick up the car, I found everyone social distancing, but completely functional. Nick and Scott are the best. Auto nation offered me a quote to buy my vehicle in 5 min. while I was on a call with Carvana. Both Carvana and Vroom slashed their offers to buy my car, by $5000 within moments from their initial offers, due to the Corona bs. Vroom did come as a highest initial offer, $500 more than Auto nation, but I'm not sure if I was ready to trust their method of picking up my vehicle and sending me a check 2 days later. Carvana was the lowest offer, $300 less than AN, but I would have to drive 150 miles to their nearest location. Auto nation had their office inside the Mercedes-Benz dealership in Reno, therefore it was very pleasant to deal with them, staff was super friendly, and they payed extra attention on handling everything very fast and professional. My car and the title was under my business, and it took little bit longer to verify everything, but in less than 2 hours I had a check in my hands. Thanks AN , great job guys.

I got an offer to bring my vehicle down for a free Pit Stop check up, which included fluid checks, tire check, battery condition check and brake check, plus even a free car wash! It didn't matter I didn't have a Mercedes, they'll do any vehicle. My appointment was at 8am and they took me in right away. One thing I think could use improvement is the customer waiting area. There were just a few drinks and packaged energy bars and snacks. The BMW dealer across the street as a nice spread of bagels, spreads and pastries. BMW is out doing you Mercedes! The service was finished in the allowed time and I received a printout of my car's results.

I worked with Eric Hjertquist over the phone and through email to look at my options for getting out of my lease and into something more reasonable for my needs. I live in Fremont California and after many emails and texts with Eric. I decided to make the 4 hour drive to Reno to make it happen. I had tried working with multiple dealers in San Jose and found that they lacked the knowledge, integrity and personal service I received from Eric over the phone. When I arrived at the dealer I walked in and they had my car ready for me on the showroom floor. Everyone I encountered was friendly and extremely helpful.. Nick was great and very professional he walked me through how to use my car and all the cool Features. Tucker was also helpful and very patient with all my questions on the financing etc. I would make that drive again in a heartbeat to work with such a professional no pressure type buying experience. In all my years of buying cars I've never had such a great experience as I had at Mercedes Reno!

Was keep waiting around for shuttle driver for over 45 minutes. Driver did not know his way around town and got lost. Was given a ?complimentary car wash? but my car was still returned dirty. Prices of services seemed extravagant (although this may just be standard) and some things offered were unnecessary (windshield wipers for a very high price).

This appointment for my Sprinter motorhome airbag replacement was scheduled in advance. I called the day before the appointment to verify that the part was ready for installation because the appointment meant I had to travel to the RV storage lot, uncover my 24' motorhome, leave my personal vehicle at the storage lot, and drive the Sprinter motorhome to my home in advance of the 8:20am service appointment. When I arrived at Mercedes at 8am, I was told that there was not an airbag available for my vehicle because it had "just been used" on someone else's vehicle. How could this happen?! Why was the airbag that I had verified not been held for my vehicle? I had come to the service appointment with a book and been prepared to wait and take care of this all in the same day. I then had to take the shuttle to my home, be without my personal vehicle for the day, and get a ride back to Mercedes the next day to pick up my Sprinter motorhome. What a huge inconvenience! No apology for the delay when I returned to pick it up, just a 'here you go.' What lousy customer service, and from Mercedes! I would expect much better from the luxury brand.

On 12/23, I brought my 2013 Mercedes 350ML in for a recall on the bolts on the auto steering column. At the same time, they replaced the front brakes and rotors. The work was done on 12/24 and I picked up the car. When I got it home, I smelled a very strong burning smell until 12/29 when it finally was very faint. However, on 12/26, an engine warning light went on the dashboard stating the oil level was low. I took the car back to the dealer and they topped off the oil but, never looked under the car. When I returned home, I noticed a small pool of oil on the garage floor. I called the dealership and asked for an appointment to bring the car back in to find out why it suddenly was leaking oil after being serviced at the dealership. I asked to speak to the service manager Kwanny, who didn't call me back until the next day. Today, I will bring the car back in to find out why it is suddenly leaking oil after the recall work. Too much of a coincidence as the car has never ever had an oil leak and this same dealer changed the oil and did a full service just 5,000 miles ago.

I have been taking my 2008 ML 350 to the service dept in Reno for the past 11 years. I have always received great service. I recently bought a new GLC 300 and a major factor in my decision to buy another Mercedes was the great service I have come to count on. Unfortunately, I had a very unacceptable experience on Saturday, December 21st. I was in my ML 350 when all of a sudden, it kept attempting to make an SOS call. There was a loud alarm noise, and I was not able to disconnect the call. I called your service dept to ask how I could shut it off. A woman answered and told me that no service advisors were available at the moment and she would have someone call me back. I told her this was an urgent matter as I could not drive with the alarm going off and not sure if the car was safe to drive. It was obvious that I was in a panic. She assured me that someone would call me as soon as possible. I NEVER received a call back. Fortunately, I was able to figure out how to shut it off and the car seems fine. I find it unacceptable that your service staff did not respond to my call when I could have potentially been left stranded. This is not the kind of service I expect from Mercedes Benz and I hope I do not regret my decision to buy another one. I emailed the general manager with this information and never got a response. Disappointing.

My usual service advisor may not be working there any more and I can tell. I took my car in Monday morning and did not get a single update all day. I had to call them to see what the status was, and got voice mail. My message was returned the following morning where they informed me they had to order a part that would not be there until the next day. I was not offered a loaner car which I should have been. That would have been a big help.

The pressure in the tires of my Mercedes is supposed to be 38 front tires, 44 rear, a differential of 6 PSI. I had a 10,000 miles service yesterday for $330. When I picked up the vehicle, the pressure was 38/42 front, 40/40 in the rear. I returned after driving two blocks and asked the pressure be corrected. They brought the car back to me and the pressure was now 40/41 and 43/43 rear, a difference of only 3/2 PSI! I gave up and left. I no longer have any confidence that MB of Reno performed any of the service components they claim to perform.

I made an appointment to have winter wheels and tires mounted on our GL63. The car was dropped off as scheduled at 9:00 am. At 3:30 pm the dealership notified me that the employee who went to the warehouse "forgot" to pick up my kit. This mistake required another trip to the dealership the next day. I would have expected at least a word from the service manager, to date crickets. Pathetic. I will say that the Service Advisor I dealt with was very pleasant and professional. Maybe she should be put in charge.

Service Advisor Joe Castleberry could not have been more helpful. Working together on the challenge, we selected and received a winter package (4 rims with studless snow tires and correct TPMS sensors) for my 2015 B Class Electric, despite TireRack insisting that they had nothing to fit my B250e. By measuring my OEM rims and ordering a single rim from TireRack to test fit, we then were able to proceed with getting the whole package together. Since I live in snow country, but my Mercedes is front wheel drive (not AWD) getting a full full winter package as a complete second set of wheels was very important. Now I can get around town safely when there is snow and ice without the fear that I am going to get stuck or slide off the road.

Mercedes provides a complimentary ?Pit Stop? service for newly purchased vehicles within the first 6 months. This is great! It was easy to schedule service on-line. My services Rep, Grecia, was efficient and friendly. Problem I had was I was told service would take about 30 minutes. It took 2 hours. Grecia did keep me updated on delay and progress. However, if I had been told in the beginning that service would be 2 hours that would be fine. I could plan my time accordingly instead of sitting in the waiting room for 2 hours. Communication is very important. In general I like the dealership. They provide free car washes and the staff are friendly and St keeping my fingers crossed that my next service experience will be better

Needless to say that we are very disappointed. The service is usually very good. Joe is on top of things, hunts down parts on short notice and delivers on time. Last time through, however, the car was delivered to me about half washed. Granted, it was covered with road grime but it made a bad advertisement for how an S450 should look. And when I got it home, I discovered gouges in the protective coating on the hood, as though someone had washed it with stones on the sponge. That was really not in keeping with MBZ.

My credit got a little beat up following my accident at work and I paid cash for my last car and Harley so I was a little surprised my credit score was not as good as I thought it should be but they got me a rate that i think is lower than on my house.....but it took a while..... Picked up an S500 with a 8/10 exterior....10/10 interior.....i wish i would have tried a Mercedes years ago....drives so nice i have to remind myself I'm driving..... Pleasant place to visit. Their service department is horrible. Brought in one of our fleet vehicles and they quoted $3500 for a variety of repairs when only a hose was bad. Even if you have an appointment, your vehicle will be tied up for several days. Don't go here.

Not sure what to say they’ve had my sprinter for a month and a half (1.5 months) and they say it’s fixed - been in for the same problem since new now it’s out of warranty and they say they have finally fixed the air conditioning to the tune of 1700.00 dollars. I don't think "yes" is in this dealerships vocabulary. After being told no about repairing scratches, removing the "Doc Fee" and reducing the price there was an added "tittle fee" on the final invoice. Again when asked for this to be removed "no was the answer and the need to have full covered insurance with cash purchase. I did not buy the car. The manager did email to try and salvage the sale but by that time we did not want to do business with a company with such poor comunication and last minute fees

You don't think of coming away from an auto service experience saying, "What a joy!" but that was exactly how I felt with my recent service appointment at AutoMation Reno Mercedes. Brandon Muhlenberg and the whole team made me feel like the "old days" when the word "service" meant you were actually being served. I got to meet the technician who explained just what had been done On my vehicle. I was introduced to the parts felt where I got great advice on which oil to run in my vebicle. I was able to get checked in pretty much on time for a morning appointment. I had another appt 3.5 hours later. Even if my service went a little past the 2 hours quoted I would have had extra time. I didn?t want to hang around at the dealership in a small, crowded waiting room so I took the courtesy shuttle to the mall?5 minutes away. When the service advisor said my vehicle was ready I waited 45 minutes for a ride back because the shuttle driver was at the other end of town. They need more shuttle cars/vans/drivers. One obviously isn?t able to service the entire Reno-Tahoe area for their Mercedes customers. I was rushing and late to my 1:00 appt, which shouldn?t have happened.

When paying cash for a vehicle at an AutoNation dealership, It shouldn't take over two hours to complete the deal. The salesman was nice, but needs to listen and be able to read his differences in customers. We told him several times that we would like some "alone" time to talk over the vehicle purchase, he didn't listen and we almost walked away from the deal. We had to leave to the parking lot to get away from him, for a few minutes alone. The final annoyance was dealing with the woman that got all of the final documentation together, after the purchase deal had been done. She seemed personally offended, and her attitude changed towards us when we declined the extended warranty. AutoNation advertises "no-haggle" deals, although I thought that they haggled us quite a bit. I knew the price that I was willing to pay, they agreed, then haggle me over paper work and an extended warranty? No thanks!

I called to schedule an oil change. We bought our car with a different Auto Nation dealer, in Roseville. When I scheduled the oil change I told the lady to please make sure they have all my parts as my car is not a Mercedes. She checked and said you are all set up. Show up to my scheduled appointment, I was seen 15 minutes pass my scheduled time. No big deal, I understand things get in the way. After an hour and half of my car being in the bay the service tech comes and tells me that they are waiting for the filter to come in from the parts store. He mentioned that next time I should advice the scheduler of the different parts, I told him I did, he then says that they have a team in Vegas that schedules for them. My appointment was at 1:20pm. At 3:30 my part finally arrived. At 4:15 I was given my car. Really? 45 minutes to put in an oil filter?? Ridiculous. 3 hours for an oil change?? In the meantime my daughters school is calling because we need to pick her up. Luckily at 430 my aunt picked her up, an hour late and making the school officials wait! My son had an appointment at 4 that I had to reschedule due to this. Not happy about the situation especially when I gave the scheduler a heads up about the car. Very frustrating experience. Hopefully next time they are prepared!!!

I bought a Mini Cooper from these people got home late from there to discover I had no headlight trim then after a week or two of waiting for the clips my salesman broke them again and told me I could buy my own from Mini Cooper the car had check engine lights on that they refused to do anything about even though one was on the night I took it home. They told me the car was as is I should of bought a warranty however they had the car marked up so high I couldn’t purchase the 2500 dollar warranty. I’m unaware of how these people stay in business with how they treat their customers. Their salesman have little to no knowledge about the car he was selling and was not prepared when I got there knowing I was coming took him over an hour just to complete what little paperwork he had to do. They don’t care about your time or money that it takes to continue to run back and forth for what ever is needed over all very poor experience you would be better off going to a buy here pay here lot where they appreciate the business. Honestly this place truelly doesn’t care and lack the people to handle customers correctly. I would never buy another car from these people and auto nation needs to reevaluate who they have working for them and get some people in there that care about there customers.

Always courteous and helpful. They tend services even when they don’t have to. Like when I take my fob in because the battery is low, they just put one in, they don’t charge. I am an insurance agent and have a client who leased a car from these guys. She had a problem with her air-conditioner and took it into these guys to fix. They held onto her car for three weeks; the first week they told her one issue. By week two it had turned into a claim with her insurance company. They were very unfriendly and very difficult to deal with from the insurance company side as well as my client side of things. I would not recommend them to anyone!

We found Dan's 2015 Subaru Outback online. It was confusing at first when I called to make arrangements to see it and they didn't have it on the lot. However, Michael Craig was very patient and was available through the process until Dan drove away in his almost new Subaru Outback. For my 50th birthday my husband took me to Mercedes-Benz of Reno to get a new car. The whole experience was wonderful. Jason Smith and all the staff at the Reno location were exceptionally attentive and worked to get me what I wanted. I was looking for a crossover vehicle and had settled on the GLC 300. Before pulling the trigger I began to worry that I would be unhappy/bored with another sedan. Thats when Jason showed me the GLC 300 Coupe!!! BAM! The only down side... the only coupe in Reno was white, I didn't want a white, black or silver car OH NO :( Not to worry, Jason found me a Coupe in Arizona with all the bells and whistles aaaaaand in Dakota Brown Metalic YES YES YES! When I picked up my vehicle I was told that my analysis charge was going to be $165.00 one hour Labor no work done! The car was brought in for an oil leak that the dealer repaired in January! Guess what the charge was changed :30 From $165.00 fcharge changed to $292.00 the Paper I signed authorizing repair work, but no work was done! The service rep was great - very friendly, knowledgeable, followed up. I thought the oil change was ridiculously expensive. The "free" car wash was horrible - poorly vacuumed, the wheels were still dirty, the windshield is streaked, and (i'm not sure) but there's a new scratch I don't remember from before. After charging so much for the oil change, I at least expected a great car wash. My complaint is more about the price. It's my fault for not checking that the oil change would cost over $300. I would have gone elsewhere had I known.

I moved to Northern NV with a Mercedes purchased in CA. So Mercedes-Benz of Reno now services my car. I have made two visits for service, and my advisor Joe Castleberry has handled everything in 5 star manner. He works to contain costs for parts and service not covered by warranty or my maintenance contract. So far, my experience with this MB dealership has been very favorable.

I have been a long time customer of MB of Reno and purchased several vehicles from them. I have sent several friends there who had purchased vehicles from them. Their repair service is second to none. Their sale staff will take care of you. If you should happen to have any sales issues that require follow-up, forget it! Their sales management is only interested in hearing from you if everything is going great. If you are experiencing issues, you can forget about hearing from them again. I had a situation that required some followup, the sales manager strung me along for two months (and counting) after I left him multiple emails and even visited the shop 4 times and never actually catching him (a one way trip from home takes me an hour). I explained my situation to several people, still no response. I now would have a difficult time recommending them for any future sales.

I called in ahead of time to set up an appointment for a check engine light and a false def sensor light for my Sprinter. When I got there the first person there was not to excited to see me, but as more employees got there, I worked with them and their attitudes were better. The rep. that helped me got my truck in the shop right away, and got a read on the problem. The only thing was, they did not have the parts fix it. I asked if they could help me find a dealer that did and they said they could not. After this I called my dealer in Orland Park, IL and they helped find a dealer with the and make an appointment. No hard feelings toward the rep that helped me, but he could have done better there. Everything else was great though. Atmosphere, energy of the employees, (except that one old man in the morning). Overall, thank you for your help, and being cool and easy to work with.

I am very impressed by how wonderfully we were treated by the service department today. We're traveling from the east coast and our Sprinter van started leaking fuel. We limped into the service center. Gregg Davis quickly assessed the situation and repaired the problem. He couldn't have been more knowledgeable and helpful. We researched used and new Mercedes SUV’s for a couple months until we found a 2017 model with options we preferred through AutoNation online and I got connected to Scott Ratfield at Mercedes Benz of Reno. Because the local Chico, CA dealer wasn’t giving us the necessary attention, information, assistance and follow-up, we decided to look into dealing with Reno Mercedes. As soon as I started texting with Scott Ratfield in sales, I knew it was a good choice but I did also check their reviews online – which were pretty good. Scott answered every question quickly and accurately, and was never pushy or misleading to bait us. When we got close to setting up a 160 mile/3 hour trip to possibly buy the vehicle, Scott was on top of every detail and when we got there we were very impressed with his knowledge, customer service skills and general personality and presentation. Scott provided an A+ experience before, during and after our purchase and I know he and the team we met at Reno Mercedes will always be there to help with kind, accurate, and helpful service. The finance went well and we even needed repair service on the car we brought to trade in so we got to meet several members of Reno Mercedes team. Everyone we saw working at this dealership was friendly, helpful and professionally kind and accommodating. I received a letter from Mercedes notifying me that my recalled airbag was available and to call the dealer immediately to arrange the replacement. I called Mercedes Benz of Reno and was informed that the part for my Sprinter was in stock and an appointment was made. I arrived a little early for my appointment and waited for 80 minutes when I was informed the airbag for my vehicle was not in stock so I left and 3 days later I received a call that informed me that the airbag was now in stock and I made another appointment. I arrived a little early for my appointment and after 2 hours the replacement was completed and appears to be done properly. My problem with this is that for a recall that was to be free it actually cost me 2 days of my time since I drive from South Lake Tahoe , almost a full tank of diesel and the mileage on my Sprinter.

Took forever to get my car back. They kept finding "issues". Took it in for AC recharge and left after an almost $7K bill. Even double charged me for parts and didn't even reset codes so stereo worked!! This car has only been seen by MB in southern CA and Monterey. Amazing they never found any issues!!

The car that I purchased was listed for several weeks on the dealer web site and Car Garu as a certified pre-owned vehicle. At time of closing it was not. Sales person did not disclose this until asked. Car apparently had been downgraded because of a defective passenger side airbag that they could not repair due to lack of parts. I asked that they lower the price because of the downgrade from its status as a certified pre-owned. Instead the dealer offered one-year all inclusive insurance coverage that I accepted and the promise that the airbag issue would be repaired when parts are received. Also only one key ($300. value) was receive at time of purchase. The 2nd key was received three weeks after purchase with a great deal of follow-up required.

When we visited Mercedes-Benz of Reno, we were promptly met by your Sales Manager, Tom Diefendorf, who was outside upon our arrival. Tom introduced us to Jade. I told Jade I was very happy with the car that I owned (a 2012 C-Class), and would probably not buy. Jade patiently showed me an E-Class, explained the new technology really well, and somehow convinced me I really should buy a new one. He was not at all pushy. Just pleasant and very knowledgeable. Tom Diefendorf took me for a ride in my car as we discussed my car and how great it has been to my family. It was a nice experience to participate in the appraisal of my car, Jade presented us with all of the figures and it was a very smooth process. The best I have ever had. I received a fair value for my car, and a fair price on the new vehicle. In the process we also talked to Mike, the Finance Advisor, and he was very pleasant. My car is in the shop for the 4th time , it is a 2015 lease and it has now been in the shop for 4 weeks, they called me to come pick it up finally yesterday and when I showed up the windshield was cracked because the mechanic apparently dropped a wrench on it so I had to leave once again in the loaner car which I have had since April 4. This is the first and last Mercedes I will ever drive. In total my car has been in the shop for over six weeks this last time was four weeks and is still currently in the shop. They ordered the wrong part twice and this is the fourth attempt to fix the problem. I am extremely disappointed. Not to mention I was contacted last week by my service advisor about the windshield and according to the service manager yesterday the windshield still had not even been ordered. The mechanic damaged it a week ago apparently I am not a priority.

My car buying experience at MB of Reno was terrific. But service on my 2010 350 GLK has been horrific. I like the car, but the wait time for service has been very long every time I've been in for a problem and today was the longest. 5 hours. 3 other times the problem was not even fixed and I had to come back for part to be orders no then installed. Plus the dealership is 45 minutes away so that added 1.5 hours to my 'ordeal'. Today the issue was that the SA never told the mechanics that my car was there and I was waiting. So having brought it in at 12:15, given a lift to the local REI, and then picked up at 3:30 when I got back to the dealership THEY HADN'T EVEN TAKEN IT IN TO HAVE DIAGNOSTICS done . Can you believe it? And I had an appointment a and texted the guy before I left my house to bring it in. So I recommend that you have an appointment and reserve a loaner for 24 hours before you take your car in for service. Or perhaps I've been blacklisted and they run for cover and see how long they can make me wait. I've had similar experiences the last two times I've been in to this service department but this was the longest. So this time I went to the service manager to complain. He was very nice, apologetic and said it should be about an hour usually to get it at least looked at. The update seems to have fixed my tranny problem. That took maybe 20 minutes. So we shall see..... I had a problem with the my windshield streaking to the point I can't see through it. They said it could be fixed with an adjustment - but they don't have the right tool to adjust....really? They are a MB dealership, right? Where you pay dealership prices to have MB mechanics fix your car. But they don't have the right tool for a 2010 car. So I'll have to go back...when they get the tool. Sigh. So I love my GLK but when you take your car, prepare to wait.
